The view and setting are wonderful !

The view is amazing!!

The one bedroom rooms A are quite small. We saw the name lodge and expected a lodge and small cabins.

Fun for families

Loved the use of kayaks and waterworks available Loved the balconies and patios on the property The pond where you enter the lake on kayaks was so beautiful and had a ton of wildlife. Room was a good size loved having a fridge and microwave

The water in the cabin was really gross, couldn't even brush your teeth without gagging, but I am used to city water which is not so minerally. They kept all the lights on at the entire lodge so you couldn't enjoy sitting out at night looking at the stars or all the fireflies in the swamp.

It was very relaxing and enjoyable.

The staff was friendly, there was laundry facilities on site and room was clean. I will definitely visit again.

great facility. Love the north woods decor and vibe. super nice staff and great amenities included in the room rate.

Location is great…lodge is off the road. and every room has lake view. Coffee and hot water for tea ready to go in the morning…just head down with your cup and grab a scone. The fire pit with swing chairs was great setup. Gas grills were available around the property but it rained our weekend. All manual boats were included and a decent fleet of kayaks canoes and pedal boats available for use on the lake. We didn’t get out because of weather, but would be fun lake for paddling…local Loons, lots of fish and great sunset view.

Mattress was a bit broken in. Didn’t keep me up but maybe new Mattress next season.

Our stay was great and hosts are very accommodating.

Great spot directly on the lake with rooms (we rented 7 near each other) and patio space for our family of 15. Enjoyed large campfire area and plenty of dock space to fish and do boating activities.

Bathrooms are a bit cramped, and damp smelling, floors above are squeaky but part of the “cabin” experience. Dishes stained and could use some upgrading.

Beautiful lake , location is awesome.

Very,very small room, bathroom . No housekeeping at all . We stayed M -F and had to ask for trash bags after emptying our own trash can. Super cramped bathroom with a small shower that had a very soft floor so you had to step easy or feel like the floor was going to give out. Rate this room a 2 out of 10.

For what you get, it should be half the price. It is lakeview but not a lodge

Closeness of parking to the room. Being on the ground floor.

A comfortable chair. More pillows. More space to walk around in. Larger bathroom. A larger table. A larger coffeemaker. Water that doesn’t taste like iron or smell like iron in the shower. Actual palatable food in the morning. Cold orange juice. Rooms are not designed to actually be comfortable in.

Will not choose this place again.

The so-called breakfast was a chocolate chip biscuit (which they called a scone) and a mandarins orange. Coffee tasted terrible because the water was too nasty even to brush your teeth. Also the meager offering was not ready until 7:15, delaying an early start.

Better water. A more friendly desk clerk.

Very nice resort with many amenities included. Clean, comfortable and nice location.

The scones were very tasty and nice for a quick bite in the morning or we supplemented it with breakfast items we brought to cabin. The location was very nice, close to lake and nice view.

a couple of the steps going up to the room we stayed at needed repair/replacement.

Family week vacation

We stayed in Ponderosa. Clean, comfortable beds, great full size kitchen. Loved the non-motorized boats included at no extra charge. We had a small motor boat which could be docked right in front. Great sunsets. Kids loved the playground and swimming in the lake. Coffee and bag of treats in morning was a nice surprise.

Wish we could stay longer because it was fantastic!!!

Breakfast was not served but coffee ,fruit and scones were made available and they were excellenr

A nights get away

It is a beautiful place wonderful staff great food.

Lots of spider webs all over the place. Ones that must of been there for years. By the beach building and boat buildings especially. Up keep needs improvement.

It is a beautiful place where you are far away from everything in the mean time close to shops. It is peaceful great view on the lack from your room.

Staff were extremely friendly and they added personal touches. You could tell they really cared.
