The Holiday Inn Express in Tahlequah was a very clean, comfortable, place with friendly helpful staff.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE

Location

I was charged before we even got to the hotel. We called to ask why we were hung up on twice. Asked for a late check-in, and our room still didn't have towels. The refrigerator leaked, told the front desk, and was told well f it. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Had to pay a $50.00 insurance fee. In case we damaged the room, we still have not gotten that back.Asked for our military discount and was denied it by the manager. Worst hotel stay of my life. Then our charge on our card was more than the receipt we were given. After calling and talking to the manager again, Still no refund of that difference either.

The breakfast was very good.

We picked this hotel specifically because it has an indoor pool for the kids. The pool was closed indefinitely, nearly every piece of equipment in the gym was broken, both beds in our room were broken and very uncomfortable, the bathroom door rubs on the floor and would barely shut, and the whole place felt a bit run-down overall.

Nice meeting area for playing games

Perfume smell in room. Floors sticky. rusty chipped tub. 5am unexplained fire alarm. Humidity after shower was high.

Birthday Bash

The staff was such a help for us and our family!! We were allowed to have my son's 10th B-day in the lobby!! We had so much fun!!

The tile around the pool was SUPER SLIPPERY!! Would suggest some texture added to resolve slipping and falling.

Always a great place to stay, but needs someone staying on top of important details!

The location, breakfast, air conditioning were all excellent! Oh, and also the pillows! Really comfortable pillows!

The only thing that was disappointing is that the elevator went out in the hotel and I had a leg injury. I was shocked that there wasn't more of an urgency to do something about the elevators. What about people with disabilities? Also, the ice machines weren't working on two floors, including mine. I had to go to another to get ice. Ice for my leg injury!

Great service, but no pool/shower curtain

Staff was super friendly and breakfast was super good!

The pool wasn't open and it's the main reason we splurged on this hotel and spend 140 for a night. Room didn't have a shower curtain and definitely under remodel? I hope so any way.
