The history, the lady in red ghost whom left us alone to sleep, the decor, and the front desk staff.
The bar. Not only it closed too early (take advantage and visit the TLC across the street with friendly and nice bartenders, and avoid the mean bartenders at the hotel that will walk past you, and your party without acknowledging you.

History came alive in the ambiance downstairs in the common spa es.
Great location that was quiet even though it is right on the highway.
Excellent restaurant on-site.
Instant hot water in the bath!
My room was basic, but comfortable and clean.
No fridge, microwave or coffee maker.
No complimentary breakfast or happy hour.

The hotel is amazingly restored, the bar, lobby and rooms are wonderful historical
I’m not sure what my view was… I would have been happy with the parking lot. I got lattice and a board in my only window. The bathroom was barely cleaned. Red splatter in what looked like a shaving mishap all over the tile but not the mirror.
