It was a wonderful experience. I look forward to my next visit!

The location was a little hard to find but once I was there it was delightful! The room was absolutely charming. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful! Freshly cooked sausage and eggs with fresh mixed fruit on the side, coffee and orange juice. Yum!

Great experience, amazing staff!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Shady Lady during our visit to Death Valley very much! The staff was so nice and helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Not only we had a tasty breakfast, but our dog got scrambles every morning. We felt very welcomed by everyone at Shady Lady. It was fun to be around peacocks and to learn the history of this Bed & Breakfast. We would definitely stay there again!

Top-notch hospitality by the owners and staff. Coffee, tea and fruit available at checkin. Delicious healthy breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Nigel brought in my luggage and set it on a luggage stand. I mean who does that anymore?!

It was a perfect place to stay in rural Nevada. Very unique.

Breakfast was excellent.

The bed and the bedding could have been better.

Tiny, comfortable room, shared bathroom, noisy house, lots of doors banging

Nice people. The fresh berries and fruit were wonderful at breakfast. The peacocks were beautiful. I appreciated the 2 gallons of gasoline from one gal there, so I would not be worried about making it safely to the next gas station.

Wrong room, not at all what I was told & I was offered the opportunity to move after I had already gone to bed, I was far too tired and in pain to even care at that point.

Very good

Really nice hosts who make you feel welcome from the getgo. Also a very unique location, not only the building, but also the setting. Perfect place to watch the stars.

The bed was nog very comfortable so we didn't sleep very well. Also at night there was quite a lot of noise from coyotes or wild dogs and in the morning peacocks. Nice to see, but hard to sleep through ;)

Very good

Jen and Susan were very hospitable and breakfast was very good. We loved the French toast. My husband said it was gonna be more filling it they had eggs. I loved the cottage we rented.

A wonderful break in blissful seclusion. Where else could you find a pool with peacocks!!

Perfect off-grid location to visit and explore the Death Valley National Park. Jenifer and Nigel were wonderful hosts and made our stay exceptionally memorable !!

We really wanted to love this B&B but we won't be back.

The host was friendly. There was plenty of hot water for a shower.

The room we reserved was overbooked, so we were shown a very small room with a short, uncomfortable double bed (Husband is 6'4" and his feet hung off the bed). We were promised a TV. Despite repeated requests for the TV, we were never provided with one. The carpet was dirty. We left before breakfast because we didn't rest well and wanted to get out of there.

Welcoming place to stay (if you like peacocks!)

We loved our visit at the Shady Lady B&B. Rooms and furnishings were beautiful and the vista was awesome. The best part of our visit, however, was the hospitality provided by Pam, the B&B assistant - rarely have I met such a warm and caring person.

I'm not a fan of birds. The many peacocks on the property are beautiful but they made me a bit nervous.

Quirky fun B&B! Wonderfully quiet and comes alive with birdsong. Peacocks by day, stars by night.

I greatly appreciated the efforts of our host and hostess to make our stay enjoyable! You can tell that they care about the people who stay there. Our room's theme gave it a lot of atmosphere. I LOVED the peacocks - sitting out back in the evening and in the morning to watch them do their tailfeather displays was, for sure, the highlight of my stay. It was also nice to see more stars than usual at night.

The stiff bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable for me. Spouse didn't have an issue, but I was waking up every 45 minutes or so during the night. I also wish that the room had either AC or a fan, although that wasn't a major issue since we stayed during a pretty temperate week, and if it had truly been a problem, I could've asked for a fan in case they had one to spare (I did not ask at the time).

Gracious hosts, great location, comfortable place to sit and watch the sunset!

The hosts were wonderful and had a lot of suggestions for things to do in the local area.

The breakfast was really basic, definitely nothing fancy. Some of the facility needed repairs.
