Our apartment was so charming. Beds were comfortable, kitchenette was super convenient. We appreciated the off-street parking. We appreciated the air conditioning as well. We absolutely loved staying in Gardiner, it has a lot of charm.
There really wasn't anything about the apartment we didn't like. We felt terrible for the owners and staff of the Cowboy Restaurant, as it burned just days before our stay. We felt super lucky to be able to stay in our lodge anyway, and did not feel our stay was negatively impacted. We didn't want to be in anyone's way.

Location was great. Close to everything. Had the western rustic feel.
Some small things… the edges of the floors had no transitions so it was easy to trip/stub your toe, a/c was off when we got there and struggled to cool it down, bathroom was really a tight squeeze with the door.

Suite was very spacious and kitchen was well equipped. Location is superb <5 min to north entrance of yellowstone park
There is a smell on the outside as one ascends the stairs to the suite. Room itself is odor free. Property says no daily housekeeping. We got 1 housekeeping service on 3rd day of stay after reminders and it was moderately satisfactory. For a 6 day stay, I expected greater clarity on housekeeping frequency.
