If you want the bland predictability of a big chain hotel, look elsewhere, but if you're up for something delightfully quirky, you'll love Adair Manor! I spent a comfortable night in a huge, beautifully furnished room in a historical house in Adairsville, just minutes off the highway - it was such a quiet, pleasant town that it felt a little like I'd entered a time bubble, and I enjoyed strolling around town after a nice dinner at a nearby local restaurant. The breakfast the next morning was generous and delicious, and I really enjoyed chatting with the owners and the other guests. I'm so glad I found this place, which offered a very pleasant break to an otherwise dull I-75 trip from FL to OH.

First, Larry and Doris (the owners) are absolute treasures. The place could have been a hovel, and they would have made it worth the price of admission. However, Adair Manor is no shack; it's an absolutely magnificent home. It's beautifully restored with such obvious love and care. Our hosts joined my wife and I for breakfast each morning, and their company was as delightful as the food they served. We can't wait to visit again, and we absolutely will.
