The University Inn at Emory

Location was perfect to Emory Clinic where we had to go....Our room was very clean - the building is an older building and needed a little TLC but over all it was a very good experience for us

Close to EUH (within walking distance), very spacious rooms, housekeeping was extremely nice when we asked for extra towels to shower before she finished our room close to check out time (10:30) when we returned from EUH after my husband's PET Scan. They had already stripped our room, but without hesitation let us use the room about 15 more minutes.

Room was freshly painted, it appeared but furniture, mattresses & chairs need updating. There was also a small roach in BR- might want to have pest control service spray. The mattresses have ZERO foam or cushion. If you are like my husband, you might like a cardboard bed but I prefer a soft pillow top bed.

It was great being right next to Emory Hospital, the staff were incredibly friendly, and I appreciated the flexibility of the breakfast service. The female staff member at the counter was absolutely amazing! We stayed here for hospital-related reasons, and I thought it would be a great place to stop by whenever we have early morning appointments at the hospital. I left Alabama in a rush at night, so I didn‘t have any cash on me. I feel terrible about not leaving a tip for the housekeeping staff. I’ll be sure to bring some next time I stay. Thanks!

Perhaps because the season is shifting and nighttime temperatures are dropping, it was a bit cold at night. I wanted to turn on the heater, but I had to switch it off because of a burning smell—likely because it hadn‘t been used in a long time. Aside from that, it was a pretty good night.

Location was the only plus of this hotel

It was old, the only update I saw was a new sink and mirror in the bathroom.. Scetchy looking things in room that could of been cameras.. ALOTof painting over things that should be replaced . Very run down.. mattresses where lumpy
