Wellfleet Lodge

Great location. Indoor and outdoor pools were nice. Room size was great and there were plenty of towels etc. Great hospitality- staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was very dark, even during the daylight hours.

I stayed at this property several years ago (~10-15) and remembered the location was ideal, which is certainly still the case. South Wellfleet is perfect for exploring nearly anywhere in the mid to outer Cape, and if you want to check out the drive-in movie theater or the Audubon Sanctuary across the street, the location could not be more convenient. Location is also a short drive to Skaket Beach, Nauset Beach, Coast Guard Beach, etc. and of course all of the conveniences and shopping of towns like Wellfleet, Orleans, and Eastham. Regarding the property itself, it is very well designed and nicely landscaped (featuring Cape Cod classic hydrangeas and towering pine trees), with comfortable rooms arranged across a few separate buildings, as well as a separate lobby/office and registration desk, both an indoor and outdoor pool (the hot tub spa is with the indoor pool), and a tasty cafe serving great breakfast items (not included in room rate but well worth the a la carte prices for the generous portions of delicious brunch staples). The room itself was very comfortable for us, with 2 queen beds (perfect balance of firm/soft), a fridge, microwave and keurig, TV, dresser and closet area to hang items. Bathroom was great, with ample supply of towels which was helpful when we ended up taking multiple showers a day before/after pool and beach activities (pool towels available in lobby). Staff was uniformly helpful and kind. We loved the homemade cookies and refreshing lemon water in the lobby at check-in and in afternoons. Management has clearly developed effective systems to keep this spot running so smoothly, and we look forward to coming back! Of note, it sounds like the whole property is in the process of becoming part of the Hilton Collection (as of the time of this writing in late Aug 2026, only part of the property is presently renamed the Wilder Inn), and Hilton Honors members will be able to accrue/use points.

Nothing. Property and our experience overall was even better than we had expected, and at a very good price for this level of service and quality. In sum, our stay was wonderful!

The person at the desk was very helpful and friendly and easily allowed me to check in a few hpurs early. My room was easily accesioble and very clean and comfortable.

the price seemed rather high. I paid over $600 for one night for 2. I would have been happier if it had been a little more reasonable especially since the property is in the process of being renovated.

Great pool very friendly staff. Close to Welfleet center not too far from Provincetown and Truro

Nothing bad but if I had to say something, we stayed on first floor and only could open one window we would have loved a screen door so we could open the door and let the beautiful breeze in.
