Great staff, beautiful old building with excellent amenities, and a downtown location that was super helpful. We got to walk around Brattleboro and really enjoyed the access that the hotel's location provided.

Great location, next to downtown, train station
Friendly staff (we were allowed an extra hour at check out)
We asked for a quiet room facing inner court and got one
The room was small. It was advertised as queen room but it was a full sized bed which was way too small for two people. The room decor was old and shabby, the carpet in particular. Not a fun place to stay in.

I originally chose this property because it’s only a few blocks from the train station. But when I got familiar with Brattleboro I soon realized that I definitely would have chosen it anyway. Great staff and accommodations, super high-contact facility in terms of continuing notifications etc. Loved having the movie theatre next door, and the whole Art Deco feel of this historic place.

The staff and the location and the theatre - my stay happened to coincide with a « Led and Dead » concert that was a lot of fun!
Out of date. Bathroom cold and minimal supplies. Bath was uninviting. Noisy. Street noise constantly.
