Surf and Sands has certainly an advantage with its great and convenient location, right by the sea. Even though the beach almost disappears during high tide it is beautiful to be close to the sea….
The pool is quite small and there are not enough loungers for all the guests. Most of them are therefore reserved by guest with books on them and remain empty, reminds me of a budget hotel. The staff handling the situation are mainly students, instructed by the management what to do about it (a timer) however it ends up that only 30 % of the chairs are actually used. While others are sitting on a bench… it’s overpriced for what service you receive, capitalising almost only from its location.

The room and view is exceptional.
For a 5 start hotel it sure wasn’t that nice.
