Clean quiet close proximity to downtown
Front desk check-in staff said my reservation was declined due to insufficient funds. When I pointed out my reservation was confirmed (I showed the confirmation email) and stated our room had been pre-paid through booking.com she quickly completed the check-in process. As a former Regipnap Director of Finance and Controller for a major global hotel company I would rate the front desk service as poor.

It was a convenient choice. The property had a shuttle to bring to and from the airport ferry.

This is a beautiful property with great views from its high perch above downtown Ketchikan. Both restaurants were excellent also, and the funicular was a very nice surprise for coming back up to the hotel.
The lobby bar is no longer open. The pizza restaurant, Eagle's Nest, is apparently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which leaves nowhere for a cool drink with great afternoon views.
