My Place Hotel-Ketchikan, AK

Rooms were very clean, quiet, and well maintained. The shower worked great.

This was my first visit to Ketchikan. I spent about six nights here to see the sights and visit a friend that was working a seasonal job in town. The hotel is a short 7-10 min walk from the airport ferry. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The room was clean and well appointed with a full sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable as well. A few other nice things about My Place hotel is that, while it's located a couple miles outside of town, there's a grocery store and a restaurant nearby. Additionally, there's a bus stop just across the street from the hotel and the city bus service was convenient even though the buses were often delayed 5-10 minutes. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

There isn't a restaurant/breakfast offered at the hotel though they do have some food and supplies available for purchase in the lobby. Also, my room had a stove yet there were no pots, pans, dishes, or silverware in the room. The last thing to mention is that the housekeeping service is every four days. Just something to keep in mind.

When the key was given to me, the wrong number was put on the key and I got let into somebody else’s room. Also, my keys never worked for the first day and a half. Also, it led me to believe that my bedding did not get changed because I found somebody’s vape in tangled in the sheets.
