Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio Brooks City Base

It was quiet and very clean.

I looked forever for a good hotel with reviews to match, like hours and hours. We planned on attending six flags and it was in the other side of town BUT the reviews of hotels there made me look further out. And I'm glad it did. From the moment we walked in to check in, the lady at the counter was polite and friendly. There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with our stay. We stayed in 220, queen suite w/sofa. The sofa comfortably fit my 5'10 200lb son, with room! This was a big plus. He didn't even pull the bed out he was able to be on the sofa only. The beds are a little firmer but we still slept great. I know it gives the size of your room on your booking but I walked it and was surprised at how much bigger it was than what I was expecting! The AC even stayed up to par during our stay, which is huge for texas summer weather. The room was clean, no bugs seen, they did have breakfast but we didn't attend and we heard no noise at night from traffic! They do have a pool, its on the smaller side but it was clean! I have no complaints from our weekend stay, none. I didn't catch the lady's name who checked us in but she checked us out as well and was just as nice. She was the only one I spoke to. Kudos to her 👏 and for the rest of the hotel staff for doing a great job. When we were leaving even we passed a man cleaning a room in the hall and he greeted us with a smile and to have a great day. We will be staying here from now on. Keep it up!
