Ali and Mahmood are very kind people and excellent guides. We spent one night at their villa in Jabal Shams—a cozy house with three separate rooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a living room and a large kitchen.
The villa is located right on the road to Jabal Shams, surrounded by nature. You can reach it with a small car, as the road is paved. We also booked the Balcony Walk and Wadi Al Nakhr tours with them.
I highly recommend them, especially if you don’t have a 4x4—particularly for the Wadi. We also enjoyed some lovely local conversations and learned more about Omani life. Thank you both so much!

The host was great, very kind and hospitable. The night sky was amazing for stargazing. The house is big. Road was paved up to the villa.

We had a wonderful stay at Jabal Shams Villa with our family. The location is breathtaking, offering stunning mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The villa was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was an ideal place for quality family time, surrounded by nature and tranquility. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Jabal Shams.
