Very good

The outside may scare you away at first but the inside of every room is redone floors/bathrooms that make the rooms clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and the pool area was also clean.

The name of the place is dunes by the shore, but you can't actually sit on the beach right across the street because it is for "beach association" members only, you have to walk approx. 6 blocks to use the beach.

Comfortable clean and convenient

Hotel was extremely lean. Quiet side of point pleasant. Parking spaces were large. Air conditioner worked great. Wireless was so easy. Overall great

A little far from boardwalk. But walking distance to the location I needed to go for work. It’s closer to bay head which is beautiful and I have never been to.

There waS no breakfast just coffee with power milk.

The TV bli nk all the time and the pillows were flat. Too expensive for the room

Exceptional

The staff at the front desk where so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. They had fresh coffee ☕ also had good conversation. Easy check in . Also I was running a little late to check out i was slow moving from an injury I had from work. And wasn't a problem asking if I need help.. Most hotels in the area would be shoving u out the door. . Would definitely stay there again.

Only thing was the price being that it's off-season. This hotel And other hotels in the area where not even close to booked up.. .

I will never return or recommend

pool & location

it really wasn’t as clean as I would of liked it to be.. you can see the paint chips & the big paint glob repairs, you can see all the dirt on that wall frames in the bathroom & the bed & little flat pillows were horrible I understand why it’s being sold it needs new ownership & staff!!

Away from it all

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy a little small but perfect for us! Pool was nice and clean refreshing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just far enough away from all the boardwalk craziness.

Disappointing

The staff were lovely and generally it was a quiet place right across from the beach.

The bathroom was so small you could not fit more than 1 person at a time. Very few amenities and you had to ask for them (shampoo, etc). The pool was nice but several chairs were broken. And the parking spots were so limited and so small that there were times we could not park. Definite feel of a road side motel, but with the benefit of location.

Also I believe it is way too overpriced for what you get and for practically $200 a night I should be able to snack on s

location , Close enough to all of the activities but far away enough for peace and quiet

I didn’t like coming back in the evening having to fight 150 bugs outside of my door

Should have spent more on a closer motel or stayed at a nicer place farther away.

pool was nice, bathroom was nice, room was ok

beds sucked, location was terrible. Says 400 yards from the beach, a private beach tho. Boardwalk was a mile an a half away.

great for cost

this place was perfect. we booked the most affordable place for us so of course we didn't expect a 5 star hotel. it is very clean- which is super important for me. very nice and helpful staff. convenient location.

won’t stay here again, wasn’t worth the money that’s probably why there was a for sale sign outside.

Very comfortable and quiet place to stay

the property was very clean and staff was very nice. it was just across the street from beach access.

There was a bug zapper that was pretty loud. I suppose we got used to it and it did the job.

Super sweet staff, basic room

The staff at the front desk were so warm and welcoming!

For $400 a night, the rooms were outdated. No outlet in the bathroom for drying hair and bare minimum linens. Was fairly clean and met our needs for a one night stay but no luxury here.

Close to the beach, great pool, quiet area. Hotel does give beach coupons. The beach directly across from the hotel is more expensive than the one a bit further down.

Rooms are outdated, beds less than comfortable, staff disgruntled.

Great place at the quiet end of Point Pleasant right across the street from the beach!

Loved the pool with the floats already in it! Friendly staff and customers. Nice quiet location.
