We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was very spacious, peaceful, and quiet, while still being an easy drive from Hilo. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and flexible. We came to the Big Island hoping to catch the volcanic eruption, but the timing kept getting delayed, and they were so understanding and willing to help us coordinate around our changing plans.
The Wi-Fi was also excellent, which made it a great place to work remotely.
But the best part, without a doubt, was the cats. 🥹 Every morning, we’d open the door and be greeted by the sweetest little faces saying good morning, and whenever we came back after a long day out, they would be there to welcome us home. They were all super friendly and somehow made all the travel exhaustion disappear instantly.

We absolutely loved our stay here!
The location is incredibly beautiful and scenic, with stunning ocean views and lush tropical greenery everywhere. At night, the sounds of nature were simply magical, falling asleep to those natural melodies was such a special experience!
The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Everything we needed was provided, and we felt right at home!
The host was amazing, so kind and welcoming. She let us know as soon as the volcano started erupting, and thanks to her we were able to witness it ourselves. That became one of the most unforgettable moments of our trip!

The facilities and the grounds are amazing. The main house (common area) has everything you need for cooking and even light entertaining. The guest rooms were spacious and made for a very comfortable 5-day stay.
It's about a 20 minute drive to Hilo and a gas station so you need to be prepared to take care of several errands if you head into town.

The property was great and very spacious. It's a plantation with many orchards and a great view into the backyard on to the ocean.
It's definitely worth knowing that there are A LOT of cats - especially for those who don't like cats or are allergic to them. For us this would be the only reason why we wouldn't recommend this place unconditionally to other people - unless you're a BIG cat lover. (around 5 cats who hang out by the apartments permanently, also come to the "private" terrace. even more cats, around 20 I think at the host's place)
