We didn't eat brkft. Location is good, we stay there whenever we go see our kids The staff is excellent! We usually come in late, it doesn't matter, they still are Great with us. And fresh coffee in the morning!!! Love that everything is ground floor. Pillows & bed were comfortable. T.V. was good. Parking & lighting was good.
That there wasn't 2 night stands, only 1 on 1 side. ATTENTION: Also, I meant to let staff know & forgot, that in our room the lamp on the night stand didnot work,& when I tried to turn it on the bulb was very warm, so I unplugged it & the cord in the outlet was very warm too! So I left it unplugged.

From the time we arrived we were greeted by a very great manager and an employee with smiles and very easy to check in and have any questions answered. The room was clean, had two comfortable beds, a recliner to relax in, and a desk with a chair. Every time we left and came back we were greeted by the staff. The train memorabilia is great and I saw some familiar items and never seen before items from the railroad. The breakfast was wonderful with scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, snack cakes, waffles, cereal, etc. To drink you had a choice of coffee, hot chocolate, white or chocolate milk. Check out was quick and easy with the same wonderful staff. If ever in that area again, I will be staying there again. Only discovered it while planning a trip to the state park in Mason. We are trying a new way of traveling in the state of Missouri by visiting the State parks. Quick trips to enjoy what Missouri parks offer.
I cannot think of anything to complain about except other hotels need to step up customer service and can learn from the Depot.
