The location is perfect. Walkable to everything French quarter, but feels more like a neighborhood. Definitely lots of cornerstones and restaurants within a block or two, but many beautiful homes around too.
The showerhead placement makes it difficult to keep water from spraying on the floor. That's really the only negative that I can think of. I've stayed here in the winter and had heaters short out. Not unexpected as it's a very old house. I would welcome these quirks over a sterile, shopping mall-esque experience like a Holiday Inn.

it was very nice cool seating spots and hot tub.
We found two live roaches in our room and one went through the wall in the wall behind the fridge.
