Sandwich Inn and Suites

Very clean and well-kept room! Large bathroom, with a lot of comfort, parking at the bedroom door is sensational! And the attendant was a very attentive and friendly person! The breakfast was amazing and with a lot of variety!

The pool is disabled!

Pretty flowers, pool area closed for the season it was in disrepair.

It is a bit run down

The breakfast room and selections of foods were excellent

...the fact that the Inn didn't/couldn't supply us with a receipt for what we spent to stay there

I've stayed here several times before, apparently in the newer rooms near the road, and it was always lovely: clean, modern rooms, nice breakfast room and selections. This time, it was in a section way in the back of the property(28-32); the room appeared to be just as nice as in previous visits.

Upon further examination(in using the facilities), the shower control was completely broken off, so that only the shower head could be used(see photo).The shower curtain rod was so caked with rust that it was flaking off(see photo)...need a PVC one. Additionally, after showering and walking from the bathroom to the bed, our feet were black(!), clearly, the floors have not been mopped in some time. Very disappointing that it appeared to be a lovely room but is clearly not being inspected or maintained on a regular basis.The owners really should be going through every room and checking the facilities. I don't like leaving negative reviews, and would certainly stay here again, but would be sure to request the newer rooms.
