Our stay was enjoyable and we will look into staying at Main Street Bed and Breakfast again.

The owner was great and attentive, The room was private and secure. Snacks and breakfast items were provided in the room. The location was great being down town and at the river.

I was initially skeptical about the temperature in the room being comfortable or not, but in the end it was fine. There was a non functional switch and light in the bathroom.

Exceptional

The host was so nice. The building is oozing with charm and history. The room and facilities were spotless! The neighboring eats and drinks were 30 feet away, and service was fantastic. Don't let this stay slip past you!

Lite breakfast to get you out the door, on main street close to all the shops and a short walk to the river.

The room was lovely, the snacks and baked pumpkin bread was awesome.

The noise level outside. I can't wear ear plugs that were supplied.

If you love trains you will love this place, horns throughout the night but ear plugs provided

Located in a historic building close to shopping, dining.

Disappointed that breakfast was provided in room and consisted of one small bread loaf, two bags of energy bars, candy, juice, yogurt and fruit cocktail type containers. More of a soon to be B&B

Was a good weekend

The home made bread was great! Location was good we walked the whole time except to go on Riverboat Cruise.

I think it was too bright coming in the door from hall light. Curtains could easily fix this. The blinds on window were good except not very private. Half curtains would be great in these windows. Mike was a good host, we enjoyed our Stay here.

A quick stop off traveling for work, will definitely go back to spend more time and enjoying the history.

Historic building, nice owner, by the river and historic Mark Twain buildings and history, nice Italian restaurant directly across the street.

A little noisy out side that night but not the owners fault.

Lovely restored building on Main Street, close to everything. Nice jetted tub in bathroom. Firm mattress on bed.

No common area or living room to sit and visit. Train close by was quite noisy through the night.

The lock in the downstairs door was a little hard to get unlocked from the outside a couple of times.

Not much to speak of at the B&B, but there was a great coffee shop nearby

Time of year and time of day - most attractions were closed so the cultural/historic areas I was interested in weren't available.

Lots of fun

Location was perfect. Breakfast was fruit and homemade pumpkin bread. All very good for a lite eater, not so good for my sweetie who likes a BIG breakfast.

The place has potential, but breakfast was continental. That doesn't fit the description of a bed & Breakfast.

Prefect for the time we spent there.

The location was within walking distance of many of the places we wanted to see. The room was tidy & comfortable. The owner gracious. The bathroom spacious. The bed comfortable.

There are things that the owner can do nothing about, like the noisy patrons of the bar across the street, the loud trains blaring horns several times a night. It would be nice if the blinds could be fixed so that they can be moved at night to block the street lights. I miss not having a hot breakfast in the morning, but no great loss. There are at least two very handy breakfast restaurants not far. The yogurt made great snacks later in the day.

Great if you want to be in the middle of nightlife, skip this one if you crave peace and quiet.

Well appointed. Close to many attractions.

Earplugs are provided to block out the train and river noise, but were not an issue. Since this location is downtown, the real issue is the vibrant nightlife/bars/live music/folks having a great time noise, until early morning. It was LOUD. If that’s why you’re staying, you’re in luck. But if peace and quiet is your hope, choose another location. We booked 2 nights and ended up moving to a hotel for the second night. Maybe we just hit a busy weekend.

Nice big bathroom with spa tub and a stand up shower. Room was decorated nicely and clean.

Bed was a bit firm for me but not bad. The light shining in from hallway. I would recommend a shade on the door or even a dressing screen in that area to help keep the light from bothering guest.
