Cute space and adequate. By a river and across from a store/cafe with good food. Friendly locals and very nice owners/managers.
Had to drive on insane highway to get there - horrible for acrophobia (not related to lodge).

The location was wonderful, right by the river, and at night you could hear the sound of the river- so peaceful and relaxing. One evening, while sitting on the terrace, I even saw a dear wandering around. I loved that there is a general store right across the street with everything you need- from souvenirs, water, fruits, eggs, medicine, etc. to prepped meals- breakfast, lunch and dinner- so convenient.
Maybe that the shower cabin was very narrow. But other than that, the room was very clean and comfortable, the kitchenette had everything we needed and the host was really nice.

We absolutely loved this property! It has such a beautiful, cozy cabin vacation feel that made our stay really relaxing. One of our favorite features was the rocking chairs where you can sit and take in the peaceful river view—it was honestly one of the best parts of our stay. We also loved how easy it was to access the river with just a short walk down the stairs, which gave my husband the chance to enjoy some gold panning. The details inside the cabin were also adorable, especially the sheets—they were so cute and added such a nice, cozy touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a really charming and enjoyable place to stay.
The only downside we experienced was limited cell service throughout the area. There are quite a few dead zones where you don’t get signal, so you do have to rely on Wi-Fi. Even with Wi-Fi, we mainly had to use Wi-Fi calling or FaceTime audio to communicate. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you need consistent cell service.

We stayed here2 years ago and the grounds were much cleaner.
Spruce up the grounds. Ice machine was broken, room could use updating.
