Venice Beach Villas

Its location is perfect. Close to everything

The location of the apartment is excellent. It is very close to the main street, and the beach is only about three blocks away. The pool was clean and was rarely crowded, and the entire property was clean and well maintained. We were also very lucky with the neighbors — it was quite peaceful in the evenings, so we were able to get a good night’s sleep. The bed linens were clean, and all the necessary bathroom and kitchen essentials were provided. The kitchen also had enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The Wi-Fi worked well and we had no issues with the connection. Another nice advantage is that beach chairs are available for guests to take to the beach. There are also umbrellas and some swimming/beach accessories available in the common area, which was very convenient.

There were, however, several drawbacks. The biggest issue was the beds. The mattresses are very old and sag significantly, which makes them uncomfortable to sleep on. The beds also squeak extremely loudly — even though the bedrooms are separate, when one person moves in bed, the noise can be heard throughout the apartment. The pillows were also extremely uncomfortable and definitely need to be replaced. The towels were another major disappointment. Both the bathroom towels and the pool towels barely absorb any moisture, so it is almost impossible to dry yourself properly with them. They really should be replaced with better-quality, more absorbent towels. The furniture in general is quite old and worn. The living room, where the sofa and TV are located, is also very dark. The existing lighting is not nearly enough, which makes the room feel less comfortable and cozy, especially in the evening. It was also inconvenient that wet swimsuits and towels could not be dried near the apartment. Instead, they had to be taken to a designated drying area by the pool each time, which was not very convenient. Another issue is the placement of the air-conditioning units. They blow directly toward the beds, so when the air conditioning is running, the cold air hits you while you are sleeping, which is very uncomfortable. We were also disappointed with the bicycles that were available for guests to use. We had actually planned to ride bikes during our stay, but unfortunately the bicycles were very uncomfortable and in poor condition, making them difficult to ride. This was disappointing because we had expected to be able to use them regularly. Overall, the apartment has a great location, a clean pool and grounds, useful beach amenities, and everything necessary for a stay. However, the beds, mattresses, pillows, towels, furniture, lighting, air-conditioning placement, and bicycles could definitely use some improvement.

Great location, lovely sized room, bikes and beach chairs available to use. Nice pool and lots of beds / chairs available to use.

Great location, loved that they provided 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. Plenty of parking for guests, when we had a problem with our bed being very uncomfortable they were very quick to accommodate us to a new villa,with a much better bed.

The bed in villa 12 was not very comfortable to us, it maybe comfortable to someone else it was very soft. We like a firmer bed. Wifi was also an issue in that villa and the TV remote only worked right up on the tv,we stayed in villa 6 and it was great however I will say both villa 6 and 12 were pretty clean with the exception of the floor, they were both sandy and had long random pieces of hair on them. Overall it ended up being a great stay and we would come back again.
