Buen hotel para una estancia corta

Las habitaciones en muy buen estado y limpias. Buena localizacion.

Disappointing.

Location

Facility was quite outdated. Mattress was an odd foam.

The room was nice and the location was great, but we wish it had better pillows.

The location of this property for the price is hard to beat we were just a couple blocks from bus stations and a metro station. The White House was just down the road along with Ford’s Theater and Old Ebbitt Grill. Everything was clean.

The bed was not the most comfortable one we have ever slept in and the pillows were very flat. The hallways had an overwhelming amount of wallflowers that made it hard to breathe.

Would never go again

The location

The smell of weed everywhere, staff was unbothered talking to friends while talking to us, the rooms walls were so thin I could hear neighbors plug in their chargers, ac was not very strong while still making loud noises, the room was a small shoe box, the elevator rattled and could fall apart any second, the bed sheets smelt old, and the window were broken while the view was a brick wall.

Prime downtown DC location but dated facility

Historic building close to White House and adjacent areas. Rooms had been renovated. Great location for sightseeing. No food services but adjacent places to eat.

No choice in room assignment. I was given handicapped accessible room with large bathroom (not needed). No carpets on floor so had to be careful not to slip when wet. No view except a brick wall so no light. For the price would expect some more facilities.

Cheap but low quality

Location was very good

Very run down rooms. Carpets have a smell , the flooring of the room feels dirty. Bathrooms are very basic renovation required.

Good base for sightseeing

Clean and tidy, room was a little cold but warmed up once we plugged the heater in. Loved the sitting room with fire,kettle and microwave

Great location

The location of the hotel was really good. It was possible to walk from it to see most of the tourist attractions within less than a 30 min walk. The Whitehouse was only 10 mins away on foot. The hotel had character and the bed was comfy. It is close to a bar and breakfast place which was handy

Parking is an issue. When we arrived we were extremely lucky to find a spot very close to the hotel with a 1hr limit - so enough to unload and check in. As we left on a Sunday, it was also available and free this time. We had to find a car park within a 5 min walk to leave the car during our stay. Parking is not cheap - approx 35 dollars per day. The hotel provides no breakfast nor any coffee making facilities in the room. The room was not big but it didn't feel overly small either.

Good but pricy for what you get

The room was clean if small. That is why I considered the room overpriced The common areas were nice. The staff seemed pleasant. The location was great

The room had a lot of street noise. It is hard place to sleep in at. The bathroom fan sounded like a helicopter. The elevators are very old. Probably from the 1960's or earlier.

Older property, clean, comfortable, but poor staff.

I was there for only one night. The room was clean and comfortable, furnishing a little old, but maintained. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated and was large compared to the room itself. It is an older property, but comfortable.

There were several issues with the room. The window unit AC was loud, and the remote did not seem to have any effect. The TV constantly dropped the signal. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a freight train. I did not complain, as these were only inconveniences, but did alert the staff upon checking out, they were not in the least interested.

Very good

I liked the location. I liked the reception is open 24 hours. And your room is clean every day.

They don't have freezer bar inside the room. The room is little. Air conditioner don't work very well.

Excellent hotel in a great location

It was really convenient. Our room was adequate as we just needed to lay our heads - it was clean, the be was comfortable, and the shower was amazing.

Very good location. Dont look for extras.

Very central location. Easy to get to most places easily. Walking distance from most attractions

The mattress was so broken, it boulged out from the sides to make a double into a queen size. Very uncomfortable and caused back and neck issues.

great location, very clean, and staff very friendly and helpful

lack of natural light in the room. there was only 1 chair for a 2 person room and some tea/coffee/drink facilities in the room would have been nice.

Clean place in a great location with low price.

The location of the hotel is great and also the room was clean. The elevator was working too, since some reviews were saying that it was not working. For the parking, I used an app to reserve a spot in a parking nearby which cost me about $50 for two days of parking there.

Considering how cheaper this hotel is compared to the other ones nearby, I don't have very high expectations. But the only thing that was a little annoying, was the low pressure of the water (even though we were just in the second floor), plus the time that it took the water to warm up.

Could do better.

The location was great. Easily walkable to a lot of tourist places. Close to the Metro system and Smithsonian museums.

Basic hotel, just the room, no facilities in room. Coffee and a microwave in the lobby area. Single glazed windows, street noise. Couldn't open window. Bed very hard and quite creaky. Only one old swivel chair at desk. No comfort. Saw cockroach in the bathroom on the last morning.
