The host was lovely, welcoming, and made us feel immediately at home. The property itself is beautiful, set beside a small river, with a cozy fireplace lit in the evenings. It has the special charm of a small, intimate retreat.
The shower is extremely small—almost impossible to use comfortably—and is enclosed by a fabric curtain, which feels quite unhygienic. Breakfast is very limited. The property is located on a busy two-lane road, and the noise from passing cars made it difficult to sleep at night.

Innkeeper was so personable and helpful- just a delight. Breakfasts were delicious. Bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was difficult even for one person to move in- exceptionally small shower.
The windows need updating. Even closed, road noise made it hard to sleep.

This accommodation was amazing and is a must stay. Its home from home. To start: the staff (Sarah and her team) couldn't be have been more helpful. They were constantly on hand for answering questions, offering additional towels or anything to make the stay more comfortable. We encountered an issue with our rental car during our stay as we had a punctured tyre. This was stressful at the time as the rental company werent helping. The Inn were quick to help us out with sorting a replacement smoothly.
The small touches were great: Hot tub facing the river, wine & cheese and biscuits in the evening, fresh baked goods in the afternoon, baked goods in the afternoon and a box of chocolates for getting engaged. The location of the inn was set around 10km from Woodstock and ideal base for exploring. The design of the house is very cosy and modern typical of a Vermont/ New England style. This was all topped off by a great atmosphere in the house meeting the rest of the guests during our stay.

The breakfast was good. Bed was very comfortable and good (and I think new) airconditioning system.
No personal welcome but an envelop with keys. There were lots of lady bugs in our room (+/- 12), eventhough lady bugs can't harm you it wasn't really comfortable. We could hear the people in the room next to us word for word. Overall feeling was that there was a lot of overdue maintenance on the room. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, paint peeling off, etc. the price was too high for the comfort we expected
