We have stayed in this hotel multiple times for the close proximity to nearby surgery center. This seemed to be an older room. It was clean and comfortable but the main door stuck and we had to always push it closed. Our bill was $214 and the most we have ever been charged for a regular room, single night stay. I appreciate the breakfast bags that are left out on the counter since we always check out prior to breakfast being served. (Note: i tried to book a similar room the next week. We had 5 days notice of another scheduled surgery...the price was $300 for a regular room. They have priced us out of staying there again. I called to see if there were any hospital affiliate discounts and was told no. I was able to find nice accommodations in neighboring town of Sullivan for 1/3 of the cost.)
The room rate has continually gone uo. The only reason we have stayed here was due to scheduled surgeries in Decatur. Sometime we do not have a weeks notice and the room rates are outrageous.
