This cabin was beautiful, the amenities were great. It’s no view of the mountains, but it’s secluded and private which I loved.
I would book this again only if the cleaning was up to par. I don’t feel like it was cleaned professionally. Here’s why: (I have pictures) It was human hair on a couple of the pillows. It was dog hair on one pillow and a rug. One of the mattress protectors had pee stains on them and black crumbs/dirt was on top of both mattress protectors. It was fingerprints and hand prints on 1 of the big windows. It was dirt in both tubs. The cleaning was not the best, but it wasn't the worst either. There is room for improvement.

Good location, 5 minutes drive from downtown Helen.
GPS took us directly to the property.
Fireplace kept us warm during Winter storm Elliot.
Hot water works which is good during 10 degree temps.
Pool table is warped so was hard to play on.
Hot tub cover is not secured (clips broken) so cover kept blowing off from high winds.
Fireplace needed cleaning due to soot buildup.

The cabin was fine as far as amenities and location, liked that it was only 1 floor and had large windows since we saw deer several times from the living room. Shower was nice and the water pressure was great, which has not always been the case in some other cabins we've rented in the past.
The cabin was clean as far as the counters and bathrooms, but the entire cabin needs a good Spring Cleaning done...there are cobwebs in doorways, really bad cobwebs on the back deck, dusty furniture tops. Really felt like the cleaning crew did the basics as fast as possible with little attention to quality. There were even dental picks and dental floss brushes lying under the bed in the master bedroom so I doubt the floor was even vacuumed before we arrived. The cold air return vent filter was so clogged when we arrived that the AC wasn't really working well, but luckily there was a new filter at the cabin so we changed it out and then the AC worked fine. Not a big deal, but I mention it only because it seems to indicate more lack of attention by the cleaning staff. If all customers are charged a cleaning fee, the next guest should expect to arrive to a very clean cabin. In a review written by a previous guest, they mentioned that the hot tub wouldn't go below 104 degrees, and a burner on the stove didn't work--those are still unrepaired issues. We couldn't use the hot tub since the temp wouldn't change and the jets wouldn't come on--very disappointing! The motor in it sounds like it has something wrong too--it really needs attention. The front right burner on the stove comes on, but doesn't heat up enough to cook anything, and it needs checked out too. The dishwasher is very LOUD so if you wanted to watch TV, you had to run it when you went to bed or you couldn't hear the TV very well. The lighting is not very bright in the overhead lights in the bedrooms or chandeliers in the kitchen/living room area--really need to use higher watt bulbs! There are plenty of light bulbs that use minimal wattage, but put out LED level light and that would have certainly been helpful. The driveway is very steep, as also mentioned by a previous guest, and they were very accurate in their description!
