The whole hotel is maintaining super hight standard, including the room, bathroom, lobby, and restaurant and cafe. The Madeira tasting in the lobby was a great start upon revival. Overall, we agree with all the superlatives from other review.

Exceptionally pretty Property well maintained 200 year-old inn. Close to town, but it does require an automobile.

Beautiful country inn with tasteful appointments and delicious snacks in your room. Great restaurants in site as well.

Good. When we checked in they said it was to be delivered to room. In morning we were told we had to get dressed and go downstairs.
Price was high, but it advertised having a very good restaurant. When we later called for dinner reservation wr were told it was closed for renovations. We wouldn’t have reserved a high priced hotel if we knew that ahead.
