Location, friendly staff, historical building were all great.
Breakfast was not good. Presentation was also poor. Shared knife in a jelly and cream cheese jar is nasty.

Location, room size, amenities, staff.
Breakfast is way too simple for the hotel. Below my expectations when comparing to similar or even more simple hotels.

The location was great. Near my event and next to the market.
The building is on a street that seems to attract people who speed down the road at late hours blasting music even though it’s a week night. The place was minimally staffed although they were reachable by text. Supplies and cooking tools were sparse. I had to call to get more and it was only a two night stay. The bed was saggy and not very comfortable. The room for a suite was also very small. It was essentially a tiny hotel room with a kitchen galley rather than a coffee counter. Overall the service, atmosphere and decorations didn’t warrant the high price. If I had paid less I would have not thought about these drawbacks but paying so much made them stand out.
