I liked everything about the place, literally. The food was absolutely amazing; the pub was nice and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The grounds were very pretty, and the staff were extremely pleasant. I proposed to my fiancé, and she has a dairy allergy, and they made the breakfast dairy-free and served a little pan of the French toast casserole, which was way beyond what we expected.
My only problem is that the location is just somewhat far away from everything. If you're willing to drive 20 minutes to sightsee or meet with friends, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Historicall location and we'll kept home with cute dcor. The breakfast and coffee was a plus! They had our 2nd bed set up for our college age granddaughter and she slept as comfy as us.
I did not check about stairs. My fault. I am a senior citizen and have trouble with stairs. We adapted, but be warned if you cannot climb steep stairs. ALL their rooms are upstairs. The owners we very kind and offered to carry our suitcases but we just carried small amounts upstairs.

Scott and Kevin were wonderful, attentive hosts who knew our names and were welcoming. The room had a beautiful painting and fun curiosities. Plus - fudge! The room had the charm of an old inn, with a totally modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. It was all so thoughtfully done. I wish we could have stayed more than one night.
