Looked like there were some lovely hikes to do but we didn’t have time!
Bathrooms were a bit tired but it was very comfy

Great location up in the mountains. It was quiet as it was out of season. Staff were brilliant. When I said I wouldn’t be around for breakfast as I was leaving early they made me an excellent hamper for the morning. Super friendly and peaceful

Room had two walls including the one behind the bed full of humidity, humidity stains and mold and broken paint. Bed base was pealing off from humidity. Room phones were disconnected so had to use cell phone to contact reception ( not practical when living abroad and roaming and rooms are far from main building with kids). Water kettle was broken and could not warm up baby milk; when I asked for replacement I was given the replacement kettle to carry to the room despite having a small child with me. Shower drainage was not working properly. Space Heaters were making noise due to poor maintenance. The hotel needs lots of maintenance for the rating it claims. In addition staff needs proper training. They are working at “best efforts and intentions”. Breakfast buffet opens at 8:30; we asked for breakfast options as we had to leave by 8:30 to catch a flight ( we asked if we could have a packed slice of bread for the kids and the answer was no!). Pls note there is nothing in the surroundings. At the end they opened the breakfast earlier and we could have a ten minute breakfast but we had to ask multiple times and the answer was: there are no options, we cannot help… same when we asked for a chocolate soufflé the day before at the cafe: first time it came with ice cream. Then next time it came without, they told us ice cream is finished but they charged the same. proper training is needed to reach the claimed hotel level. Restaurant staff was very helpful, flexible and the food was great. Good playground for young kids although I would question safety of the swings structure. Would go back if anything just for the location and the welcoming walnut drink the first day after an 8 hrs trip ( a good example of staff working at best intentions !)
