Disappointing service but nice hotel

Nice hotel, great location

We complained that there were dirty marks by the sink in the bathroom and that there was no bedding for the sofa bed but no one came to resolve the problems so we had to ask again. Also there was no fridge and we were told there should be but we still never got one.

Overpriced for the service and amenities

Easy walk to the main town

-The room was not clean - bedside table was dirty and not wiped clean. -The A/C unit was incredibly loud and would run constantly. -Housekeeping did not clean our room and failed to bring us towels upon request. -Noisy surroundings -Rooftop patio and Bar not cleaned up, no towels restocked in gym or at the patio/pool area.

All good except for getting over charged

The location and view were great

I was charged an additional $75 per night that was never disclosed to me until checkout. The manager only offered to refund 1 of the $75 charges.

Wonderful relaxing stay! Definitely recommend, can’t wait for next time!

Fire pit & ocean view was the highlight of our stay! Location was convenient. Very spacious!

Great place to stay loved the fire on the patio great place to relax

The parking fee isn't part of the reservation so for 2 nights you pay a nice little chunk of change plus no microwave in the room refrigerator didnt work well idk if i can trust the insulin was kept safely cooled both bathroom doors didn't lock

Great location but sleepless night to tonissue with the bathroom

The property is in a great location.

We reported an issue which caused us to have very little to no sleep due to water coming from the vents in the bathroom. The staff didn’t seem bothered about the issue and nothing was done about it. Felt disappointed!

Lovely stay!

Super clean and very friendly staff. Really enjoyed the valet parking but do think it’s too expensive!

Won't stay there again

Rooftop view

I paid for ocean view not parking lot view. Towels were dirty ,smoke alarm kept going off when showering,coffee maker didn't work, vent by the desk had dirt and dust build up disgusting, bed on the left side had a dip in the middle, front desk staff 3 to 11 unwelcoming, rude, should not be working with the public.

The two main reasons I chose this place were: Gym facilities and parking. I chose the wrong day.

The bed was comfortable.

Parking was $30 for overnight parking. I was unaware of this. The one machine (Functional Trainer) in the gym was missing attachments and was inoperable. In fairness, I did explain the situation to the manager on duty and he sent a maintenance person to assist (by which time I had to check out).

Overall all was grerat

Great staff, food, excellent location and price for the location

Upon entering room Thermostat did not work. ( By the way, Staff upgraded free of charge to a room with a view before we entered room because it was our anniversary. ) I thought this was so thoughtful! Thermostat would not work so staff quickly moved us to another room. (Should have given us a meal voucher for the problem) I worked in customer service 40 years or so and I would have accommodated customer to a free meal voucher, $25 to $50 voucher.

Had to change rooms 3 times due to flys and bugs flying around the 2 first rooms on top of that the clean up guys sprayed bug spray in the first room like I wasn’t there

False advertising. Advertised a sofa bed with 2 queen beds but the concierge said they do not have any rooms with 3 beds.

Location is perfect, staff was professional and friendly.

Facility wasn't very clean. Are room wasn't very clean. Valet was $30 a night and there was no self parking. I won't be staying there again.

Had many pros and some cons

I really liked the location of the property. It was in walking distance to everything in Pismo. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable.

The one thing that really pushed us away from loving this place was when my niece cut her foot. She was swimming in the pool/hot tub and all of a sudden her foot was bleeding. Turns of there was class or part of the pool siding in the pool and she cut her foot on it. They drained the pool but still. For such a nice place I was surprised to have something like this happen.

Disappointing

Nice decor.

Housekeeping needs some training on cleaning the rooms thoroughly. The phones did not work, and we were not told until we contacted the front desk via our cell phone. Apparently, the whole section of our floor had no telephone use (we had 2 rooms). No room service for our section since we couldn't reach them due to no in room telephone. We tried calling with our personal phone but there was no answer. Also, online menus haven't been updated for some time. We walked up to the rooftop restaurant to order takeaway, and everything we asked for that was on the online menu, they did not serve any longer. The rooftop "restaurant" is crowded, and the pool is a joke. We only tried this place since it was a newer hotel but never again. Plus, don't think that you'll sleep past 6am due to the noise from garbage trucks, etc. This was a 1 and done for us!

Inn at the Pier *** Horrible service*** for $600 a night.

Location

Didn't clean the room for almost 3 days after multiple requests. Didn't allow early checkin after initially saying they would look to offer it. Needed a microwave to warm up my baby's bottle, didn't supply one, and had to make multiple phone calls to get one. We checked out early due to service. Hotel called and gave us one day off our bill due to the service. But still has not refunded us for leaving one day early. Too many issues for $600 a night.
