Nuestra estancia en el Hotel Sierra de Araceli ha sido sencillamente excelente. Un lugar de esos que uno descubre casi por casualidad y al que termina pensando en volver.
Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas, son cómodas y acogedoras, y el entorno aporta una tranquilidad que se agradece especialmente después de un día de viaje. Pero si algo merece una mención especial es el personal: cercano, amable y profesional, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y haciendo que te sientas realmente bien atendido.
El restaurante ha sido otra magnífica sorpresa. Muy buena cocina, producto bien tratado, platos cuidados y un servicio a la altura del resto del hotel. Y los desayunos merecen también su propio reconocimiento: completos, de calidad y perfectos para empezar el día sin prisas.
En conjunto, una experiencia francamente difícil de mejorar. Buenas instalaciones, excelente restauración y, sobre todo, un equipo humano que marca la diferencia.
Nos hemos marchado con la sensación de haber acertado plenamente con la elección y con algo que, para nosotros, dice mucho más que cualquier puntuación: volveríamos sin dudarlo. Totalmente recomendable.

Nos ha encantado nuestra estancia en el Hotel Sierra de Araceli. La ubicación es perfecta si buscas tranquilidad, naturaleza y estar alejado del bullicio. Está en plena sierra, por lo que es especialmente recomendable si te gusta el senderismo o simplemente desconectar y disfrutar del entorno y las vistas. Aun así, en coche se llega al centro de Lucena en unos 10-15 minutos.
Es cierto que no hay supermercados cerca, pero el propio hotel dispone de desayuno, bar y restaurante, por lo que no supone un gran inconveniente si vas con la idea de disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar.
El hotel tiene un estilo rústico muy acogedor, tanto en el interior como en la decoración, y cuenta con una terraza preciosa y muy agradable. Además, dispone de aparcamiento gratuito y hay espacio suficiente para los huéspedes.
La limpieza nos ha parecido espectacular, todo estaba muy cuidado. La habitación dispone de aire acondicionado y calefacción, algo que se agradece para cualquier época del año.
Pero, sin duda, lo mejor ha sido el trato del personal. Han sido todos muy atentos y agradables. Queremos destacar especialmente al hombre que estaba hoy en el bar, que ha sido amable, cercano y muy apañado.
En definitiva, un hotel con mucho encanto, tranquilo, limpio y con un servicio excelente. Sin duda, repetiríamos.

The helpfulness of the staff. When we arrived, on a cold January afternoon, the room we were given was chilly - the aircon heating was not working. A member of staff tried his best to get it working but to no avail so we were quickly moved to another room which was toasty!
The evening dinner menu had lots of choice, the prices were very reasonable and the food tasty. The small bar on site was pleasant. Free parking was great.
The breakfast choice (from a fixed menu and not self service) was very limited. The room price including breakfast was 64 euro (for a room in January). The previous week we had stayed in a lovely 3 star hotel right in the centre of Salamanca with an amazing breakfast included for 52 euro. Given the location of the hotel Sierra de Araceli and the poor breakfast choice we didn't feel it represented particularly good value. However, we still had a pleasant stay.
