The location of the Allen Hotel was good for me, I found the transport links good. The room was very clean, I was located on the 6th floor which was quite. No breakfast served at the hotel or no bar which was a little disappointing but there was a very good restaurant just around the corner called Dudley's worth a visit. The staff at the hotel were friendly & helpful.
Nothing really, this was a 4 star boutique hotel.

Rooms were typically bigger than your normal New York hotel. Everyone was super friendly. Central to everything.
A lot of doors were being slammed when I guess the housekeepers were cleaning the rooms and the beds were a little hard. I also wish they had smart TVs but other than that, everything was great.

The location of the hotel is terrific - right in the heart of the best of the Lower East side - restaurants, clubs, museums, sightseeing. The rooms were generously sized for New York City and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel is good value for money, and I would stay there again.

Location was good. Roof top ‘terrace’ has great views, but could be made much more.
As a family of 4, with two queen beds, the room was VERY small and claustrophobic. We were barely in the room as always out exploring, but at the same time, we couldn’t have stayed in the room for long given the size.
