The Station Inn was a delightful escape. Checkin could not have been easier, the room was elegant and inviting— loved the cushy robes!— and I had a beautiful view of the Main Street of the charming little town of of Pawling NY from my front window.

Property was clean, well maintained, and has quite new furniture.

Very small and private. Exceptionally clean and modern. I'm looking forward to my next stay.

1. In the bathroom of room 12, I would like to see vertical grab bars on either side of the toilet. It sits a little low and they would be helpful to either a right or left handed person who may have disability issues. 2. Similarly, a vertìcle grab bar could be placed outside of the shower beside the bedroom door to provide stability stepping out of the shower. 3. On a different note, the room above room 12 apparently did not have a rug on the floor. The tenant came in about 830 at night, with hard soled shoes that were very loud on the wood floor. I did call Stephany, after 2 hours, and she contacted them and it did help.

Needed a few hangers --the robes were hanging on the only ones. And is there any way to ask guests to come in quietly? It was almost 11 pm when what sounded like several guests arrived, talking loudly in the hallway. Maybe post a notice in the hallway?

We enjoyed our stay at the Station Inn. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean!! The building smelled very good and fresh without the smell of a strong cleaner. The air conditioner was really good. You controlled the temperature. The location had its good and bad. Pawling does not have a whole lot to do, so the location for this place at least had a few restaurants and bakeries, a CVS and two churches all within walking distance. We felt extremely safe. The only two drawbacks was the train crossing is directly across the street. The train blows its horn each time it passes. They did provide a noise machine on the bedside table and earplugs for sleeping. There is no way around the sound of the trains horn… approximately every two hours. My husband and I just laughed each time it passed. The only other complaint is that the room was a little pricy for the amenities. We both agree if we are back in Pawling in the future, we would still consider staying here. Cleanliness , location, and a comfortable bed are the most important things to us.

The price and the noise from the train crossing were not good.

Nice place. Kinda loud. Train runs across the street. It's an old house etc. Other than that which are part of the ambiance it's nicely appointed and comfortable.

Very clean. New appliances. Modern TV. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Excellent value for the money. Best stay I have had on the Appalachian Trail.

Nice

The location was perfect for us to attend a family gathering. But it is also convenient as a stop in the Dutchess County and Kent CT area. There are restauarants and the train station nearby. We liked the simple remote access to the building, the sparkling comfort and immaculate rooms of which we had four. The Innkeeper was very helpful with our needs

Would have preferred milk to the half and half. But everyone enjoyed the coffee and tea selection
