The staff was great. They were nice and accommodating.
The place was not tidy. There were tears in the carpet in the hallways. The stairs were damaged. The elevators were dirty. The walls in my room had stains on them. The bathroom floor had visible dirt and dust. All of these things made my stay uncomfortable. This hotel needs to be deeply cleaned. It only seems to be a problem in Michigan because I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn locations in other states and they have been very neat and clean.

location was good. front desk staff was great. liked the coffee in the lobby.
didn't do breakfast buffet because no bacon on the buffet. no other option was offered in the hotel and i had to go leave the hotel and go elsewhere. also there was no body wash in the shower. i had no time to call down to have it refilled. also the bathroom lights wouldn't turn on and had to call front desk to figure out why.

Good size rooms
Didn’t pick up trash near my room for 47 hours. I had to request removal from the hallway.
