This is an amazing place to stay for short term or long term.

The hosts are amazing. Very friendly and make you feel at home. The location is also very nice and safe. I enjoyed my stay here with my friends.

Very enjoyable and pleasant stay!

I was very pleased with this property. The host was very accommodating and helpful with suggestions for dining and attractions. My privacy was respected and we only interacted when I initiated it. There were 2 teenage boys but they were very well behaved and one of them is exceptional on the piano. The location was ideal. Very close to Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and the Balboa Peninsula. The room was very comfy and I had 2 beds to choose from. One was firm and the other was medium, I chose the firm bed. Wifi was great. They have a nice backyard for sunning and relaxation with a picnic table. I would definitely stay here again!

During booking, I thought I would have my own bathroom but I did not. It turned out OK because they had 2 bathrooms and I never had to wait to use it.

Lovely home and family

Tho and her family are quite accustomed to having homestay guests and as a result made us feel quite at home. She was there to greet us when we arrived and stepped us through setting up the door entry and answered our questions. The beds were comfortable too!

While there are two bathrooms, one feels like the kids bathroom and the other felt more comfortable to me. I wanted to wait for the main bathroom, simply because I felt it was more inviting to me, but I felt a little pressured to use the other one when asked if it was open, which it was.

Nice house but way to many people inside the property

The person in charge of the house did not tell us at the time of arrival that my wife and I will have to share the huse with a bunch of people. We have no privacy, the house was hot as well as our room, no A/C so we did not sleep in the house. I end up spending $180.00 for a hotel room so we can sleep in peace.

Friendly inviting hosts, they treated us so well and showed us a lovely snapshot into their lives.

Clean and safe, not too far from the beach and coastal towns by car and with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

I give this Homestay the highest rating that I can. The host Rowen and Toa were so welcoming and let me know right away

The home was very warm and welcoming. The room that I stayed in was festive, colorful and more than adequate for a solo traveler or a couple.

It was a bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop. But nothing extravagantly far.

Cozy accommodations

Very Friendly family environment. Tho and Rowan are charming hosts. I work nearby and live 75 miles from work, so it was nice and close. The bed and room were comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely be a repeat guest.

Communal living within easy reach of attractions hosted by wonderful, generous family.

Tho and Rowan are really wonderful and welcoming people! Generous, helpful, and interesting to talk to, they work hard to provide a good experience for their guests. You immediately feel like you are part of the family. They were very available to answer questions about the area and even loaned my son a pair of shorts out of their own closet.

When I rented this room I did not realize what a "homestay" is. I did not realize I was renting a bedroom in someone's private home and would be sharing a living space, kitchen, and bathrooms with the owners of the home as well as other guests. I would liken this situation to that of a hostel rather than a hotel room or guest cottage. Having said that, I don't think you could ask for a nicer communal living situation.

Accommodating and caring host

Tho was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Her and her family made us feel at home immediately. My room had ample closet space and the neighborhood was charmingly quiet. The place had great parking availability and is very accessible to Santa Ana Airport (10 min drive).

The homestay provider was so kind, warm and welcoming i felt completely at home. The facilities are roomy and ckean. This is the best alternative to hotel living i have discovered.

great hosts . Tho and Rowan went beyond to assist us with everything. Tho even took us to a nice Sushi restaurants. We would definitely go back on our next trip. Great location and great value.
