Great location and views. Kitchen has everything you needed to cook meals.
It was challenging to use more than one pot/skillet on the stove at the same time. They didn’t fit. Pots seemed warped

Everything was awesome 😎😁 .I never got any cell phone service ,but it was okay 👌 I mean it is a good thing that you didn't have to answer the phone 📞 all day but it is a good thing to have some kind of WiFi ,Or emergency number just in case you need it for the family's safety..❗👍
The only thing I didn't enjoy ,was having to leave and come home 😒😔😏😌...

The key less entry was nice. Door needs to be adjusted so it opens easier. Nice accomodations with all modern conveniences.
Paint pealing badly on lower deck. Parking spaces were ample just A LOT of stairs to get from parking lot to unit. Kind of a pain. Loading/Unloading area was small so no more than two cars fit.

The location is less crowded, quiet and more serene compare to Shaver Lake. The kids can play sled on the slope right in front. The condo has a great view of the Chinese Peak and small view of Huntington Lake. It is also 5 minutes drive from China Peak Mountain Ski Resort. The property has two balconies, one can be access through the living room and the other through the master bedroom one level below. The heat was turned on for us before we arrived, which is very nice. The condo has two bedrooms and two baths. There is also a loft above the kitchen with 2 twin beds.
The condo is hard to locate in the winter because it situates up the hill away from the road and the house address number is not displayed on the street. We tried to find 63211 but all we could see are 631xx. Not until we walked up the snow covered path that we started to see houses with numbers that start with 632xx. In the summer this path is an access road for short-term loading/unloading. Probably in the summer, it is easier to locate. Once we located the house, we could not open the door using the code the manager or owner provided. The code did not work with the keyless locks and we had no cell signal at that location for T-mobile cell phone carrier. Fortunately the people rented the unit on the right allowed us to borrow their phone to call the manager/ owner. The owner provided us with the code to the key lock box mounted on the right wall. We used the key in the lock box to gain entry into the condo- the potential disaster was averted. I highly recommend future guest to arrive in the day time especially in the winter. If you are not from the area, the highway from Shaver to Huntington Lakes are less traveled and can be icy at night. It is still relatively safe due to snow banks on both sides and the lack of sheer cliff. Because of work, we could only arrive at night. If there are any issues, the Lakeshore Resort Restaurant is only a short distance west of Huntington Vista Road where you can have access to food, atm, restrooms, phone, and etc... We are humans and prone to make mistakes now and then so I do not fault the owner/manager.
