Rose Street Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was and delicious.

The only issue I experienced was the stairs. I am 70 years old and they presented a slight challenge with bags.

Jaime was a terrific host. B&B 2 blocks off Main Street = excellent location. Georgetown is a terrific stop.

Nothing comes to mind

An adorable, historic B&B. Very clean with access to all the downstairs rooms: kitchen, dining room, living room etc. All decorated in 1890s decor! The breakfast was delicious. You could have coffee and tea any time.

Amazing convient location in a quaint little town. Nestled right at the entrance of a gorgeous scenic drive. House had such unique decorations. Very cute. We felt safe and it was a comfortable sleep.

Unfortunately there were a few hiccups with the stay. Mixed up our room and cooked us (two vegetarians) bacon for breakfast, despite asking for and us providing our dietary restrictions. Strange to have asked but then clearly didn’t read them. Waffles were so over cooked they were like rocks which was too bad because the flavor was great. Nothing absolutely horrible where I would discourage anyone to stay.. but wasn’t outstanding. We had a pleasant convo with the host during breakfast but found her demeanor the night before surrounding the room mixup unnecessarily defensive. Although she was apologetic when she realized the mistake was hers. Still.. wish the communication could have been a bit warmer and more hospitable. I guess sometimes people don’t read the best over text, but is really a part of the hosts job to make you feel welcome.
