Beautiful resort. Can’t wait to return.
We loved the location, the restaurant on site was the best meal we had this trip. The quick walk to the beach and the hot tub was wonderful. The GM Chase was super helpful and committed. Our kids loved the Easter egg hunt, bocce ball, hot tub. We would definitely stay again!
First off, Loved our stay. For a bit of feedback: They seemed understaffed. Their beach area and pool area were not tended too so there were chairs, trash, and towels about. The beach showers and feet washing stations didn’t work. We received turndown service on last day before checkout which didn’t help much as we checked out the next morning. The spa services are super expensive but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The pools aren’t heated and someone had posted a picture of an indoor pool on Google images of the resort which they do not have. We were sad about that. Rooms were small but bathrooms were large.

Expensive stay for okay hotel
The grounds are lovely. The area of the beach is very nice. The bathrooms are okay but more did not have a bathtub and I was hopeful at this price point there would be more luxury.
The hotel is certainly not cheap. It is probably the nicest hotel in the obx but none the less there at musty areas

Low key environment, every need provided, restful atmosphere, breath-taking views, pristine beach.
The location and proximity to the ocean was excellent. The staff was happy and very accommodating.
No elevator well in main lodge. The water and ice vending machine were on a different floor.

I loved the beach and our (final) room was lovely. but noisy neighbors and traffic clouded my decision to come back.
it was clean and convenient to the beach and peaceful.
the traffic to get to/from it is terrible at certain times and days. no elevators made moving luggage a pain.

Exceptional
How well it is maintained. That it is situated on the ocean, with access to the sound, as well. That the restaurant is excellent. And, that the hotel and restaurant staff is lovely and very accommodating.
I suggest offering a lighter breakfast for those who don’t want a full breakfast. And Also a less expensive option for lunch.

Was looking forward to our honeymoon and after seeing the advertisements and such I was left with a
The location was desirable.
The room was loud, could hear every door creak, water running, etc. Had a massage with my husband for our honeymoon and both of us walked out in pain and the pain only continued to get worse fromt he pressure and massage techniques. Highly disappointed for the money spent.

great location but overpriced
The location was perfect!!!
Over priced room. We had a problem with our air conditioner going off twice so waking up to hot room was not good, but they did send someone to fix it immediately. The Screen door had holes all over it so bugs got it when you open the doors to listen to the ocean 🌊 Also the walls were so dirty, for the price you pay this should really be cleaned up. I will tell you the staff is very nice and the location is amazing for the beach or going into town.

Beautiful well maintained property!
Beautiful landscaping, gorgeous room overlooking the ocean, great food at Lifesaving Station, nice staff
paper thin walls could hear loud music in room below us and people arguing in room beside us at 6am
