This 3600-square foot stunner has an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and downtown San Diego. It boasts five bedrooms and five bathrooms with a massive backyard and a rooftop patio to enjoy many beautiful moments. Just walking distance from Pacific Beach and the best restaurants, shopping and bars. Perfect for families or a group of friends/colleagues. It's a vacation spot that you're not going to want to pass up! Enjoy views of the sapphire waters of the Pacific, lush treetops and the array of architectural wonders in downtown San Diego. The Opal boasts 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The Master, second and third largest bedrooms feature king beds. The Master has an ensuite bathroom, satellite television, AC and ocean views; the Master Suite also has walk-in closets and an L-shaped balcony overlooking the city. The fourth bedroom features both a full-size + bunk bed, while the fifth bedroom has a Queen bed. Both bedrooms have satellite TV and AC, and share a well-appointed separate bathroom with shower/tub combo. There is also an open-space common sitting area with a sofa that converts to a bed. All rooms offer varying outdoor views of the property and surrounding areas.

Where do I start… fully stocked kitchen, top of the line appliances, full selection of bar glasses!! Wine, martini, etc. Wonderful beds with nice linens. Why don’t more people realize how key this is. Huge tv with excellent and easy to use sound system. Back yard and roof top area sold me online and was even better in person. They welcomed pets and provided pet towels to cover furniture. Everything was super clean and organized. Thank you so much for a great few days with our kids and their significant others. Could not have picked a more perfect house for the occasion. Goes down as one of our top VRBO rentals. Also property manager was so nice. Met him in person and he explained everything. And I almost forgot a poker table complete with cards and chips. We played the last night and it was so fun!!

“The Opal”went above and beyond. It was spotless when we arrived and was stocked with everything you could possibly need on vacation. The backyard was stunning and the roof top with the fire pit was the most spectacular place to watch 4th of July fireworks. The most impressive was the decor, the amount of rooms for everyone to sit comfortably and have great conversations. The beds were comfortable and you could walk to the beach, coffee shops and even Vons grocery was a 2 minute drive. The Opal is the perfect location. It will not disappoint!!
The communication with the property manager and owner prior to arrival was very complete and detailed. We will be back next year!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this house. It was perfect- plenty of rooms and more importantly the house was spotless. No detail was missed. I only rent vacation homes when traveling with my extended family and this was by far the best. The property manager was terrific to work with and gave us a tour of the house when we arrived

Amazing and spacious!!
Myself and my out of town friends and family stayed at this beautiful property. Since my fiance and i got married over the week, we needed a spacious place to house them that was also convenient to local areas and restaurants. This place was amazing!! So much bigger than i had anticipated. It was very clean and had so many beach accessories that we were able to use (chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc). The location was great and there we no issues at all. I highly recommend booking your next vacation here!

Family Vacation
The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and great common spaces to hang out! We were here for the 4th of July so we got to watch the fireworks from the rooftop!

A wonderful high school reunion
We had a great time at the property. Best location to visit San Diego and La Jolla. The house is clean and well equipped. We might come back next year again.

Amazing Property
We came here for a weekend guys trip with the anticipation of being out and about most of the time so there was hesitation on getting a real nice spot but upon arrival and after our stay, im glad we chose this location. Centralized to the best of SD (15 north of downtown, 10 south of La Jolla and 6 minutes from Pacific Beach) it was a breeze getting any where we needed to go.
The house is modern yet cozy - the couch was amazing to relax on, the 85" TV paired with a $10k sound system made movie watching so enjoyable. The 8 seat poker table was a nice touch too. The kitchen is massive and so much counter space we were able to cook all that we wanted. Theres a nice grill in the back too.
The highlight though is the rooftop deck, sweeping views of SD, cool ocean breeze and a fire pit as well as speakers to enjoy the night with some drinks and chill vibes. All the rooms were very comfortable and showers were nice too.
We loved it so much we ended up spending most of the time on property instead of having crazy nights out on the town.
Darren has great communication and Joe the property manager was super nice and communication there was great too.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend or stay here again next time im in SD!

Stunning modern home
Absolutely stunning home that suited the needs of our group of two families perfectly. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could wish for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is superbly equipped and really well- organised. We loved the roof deck with the sunset views and the fire pit in the garden. Everything was super clean and the property manager was extremely helpful and took great pride in showing us everything about this wonderful place. We didn’t want to leave.

Stunning house in the perfect location.
We booked the house for a yearly golf trip and it was the perfect space. It was able to sleep 7 adults comfortably and the outdoor spaces are unbelievable.

The house was absolutely gorgeous inside, with so many extra amenities. The bedrooms, the bathrooms and the living area were well appointed and perfect for all of our guests. The kitchen is amazing, with all sorts of upscale appliances, dishes, cutlery, glasses and a beautiful oversized stone island...perfect for entertaining. The location was close to the beach and the rooftop terrace with fireplace was a plus.
Also, Joe, the property manager was very helpful in explaining the many facets of the rental house. It is a perfect vacation home for friends and family. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Views. Great Location. Stunning & High Tech Home.
The home is gorgeous and located perfectly. A 10 minute walk to the beach was amazing! The views from the rooftop included the city skyline, the bay and the ocean. Tough to beat! The home is extremely well equipped and comfortable. It is very high tech and has TV’s everywhere. We checked in late at about 8pm and the cleaners were still there due to a previous reservation. The property management team was respectful and apologetic and left about an hour later. I would recommend this home and will likely book again in the future.
