The best!!

So so amazing……. One of the best accoms we’ve been to before. Place was spotless, beds were super comfortable, there was Netflix, was a kitchen for you to cook… the whole place was just warm and cozy. The best thing was a mini self-service shop that lets you buy your cooking ingredients - pasta, sauce, meat, milk, can drinks, alcohol, beer… it’s such a cool concept that we cooked and had one of the best meals in the cold weather. Thank you Andy for the great hospitality & service! Such a good location as well… enjoyed our stay so much (;

Beautiful views, warm hosts, comfortable apartment

One of the best stays!! Hosts are warm and friendly, the apartment is beautiful, and very relaxing! The view of the lake is really as good as the pictures, and is located in a perfect spot! Clean, comfortable and absolutely worth it!

Wonderful apartment

Haus Franziska is well known and has a great reputation, beautiful property with fantastic views of lake and mountains. In the apartment everything is so thoughtful and well organized prepared for guests’s needs, the owner Andi provides unbelievable customer service, he is so kind and efficient, four hours after we check out, received our message and helping us with where and how to meet our new driver right away, we are very grateful and highly recommended to everyone go to Hallstatt and enjoy relaxing time at Haus Franziska.

A room that fits the City: Fantastic!

It's a lovely place, to stay, in a hotspot for amazing pictures with view of the City. Although breakfast is not provided, they provide delicious breads at your door early in the morning and the amenities of the room includes oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, and all the gear needed to cook. The beds are realy comfy, and our window view unforgetable. And last but not least, Andi and Carina atended us very kindly and timely. I must come back one day, the City and Haus Franziska deserce it!

Just amazing

This is the most idyllic spot. Andi is a very kind and welcoming host. It was an effortless and easy arrival and check-in as Andi had explained every thing beforehand - all of which was very simple. There were chocolates waiting for us as we arrived, as well as two little salt shaker souvenirs. We received freshly baked bread and croissants on our last morning which were amazing. The room is simple, beautiful and had absolutely everything you could need. And the view was breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay and will be sure to stay here at Haus Franziska again.

Andi and Carina were both very cordial and accommodating. The apartment was very cozy and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. It's situated in a perfect spot near the center. We didn't have a hard time looking for it. The lake view from our apartment room was breathtaking. I highly recommend everyone to stay at Haus Franziska. Everything was superb!

The apartment is a great space for two people and has everything you need. It's a perfect location, with being only a 5 min walk away from the town centre/where you catch the ferry. The view from the window overlooks the lake and is beautiful. The host Andi was very accommodating, and very kindly drove us to the train station when we were unable to catch the ferry.

Amazing Apartment with lakeview! not to be missed!

The property is basically in the heart of Hallstatt. Very convenient. The view from the room is amazing! it’s super close to the Hallstatter See (the famous viewpoint). Andi (the host) was very communicative and he was very helpful and friendly. I asked lots of questions and he answered it patiently and promptly. Since Hallstatt is car free, Andi picked us up from the parking lot P2 to the house since it was cold and raining and we had lots of heavy luggage! The apartment has amazing views of the lake! it’s very comfortable, super clean, and the price was excellent compared to lots of hotels with lake view nearby. They have mini fridge in front of the apartment, which have food inside that you can pay for reasonable price in case you don’t want to go out to eat. Will definitely come back and stay longer! my mom and I fell in love with Hallstatt and we love the hotel and what it has to offer!

Excellent view of Lake Hallstatt. Staff (Andi and Katarina) were most helpful and prompt in their communication and assistance. The croissants (we requested not to have the other breads from the second day onwards) provided were absolutely fluffy and delicious. The room's decor is so homely and cosy and the kitchenette is well-stocked too.

The walk uphill from the ferry stop is quite laborious and can be exhausting for old folks and young children while lugging heavy luggage. It is fine for a casual walk though. There is a flight of steps up to the house too.

Exactly what I was looking for in Hallstatt

Charming room with bed, dining table, kitchen, and bathroom with shower. Beautiful view of Halstattersee directly out my window! You could occasionally hear tourists walking by but it was out of the more crowded tourist area. The host was very helpful.

I can’t think of anything that could be improved.

very spacious and clean with beautiful view of the lake, location is great as it is a short walk from the centre.. Andi was a great host, always looking after our needs.. would definitely come back if we come to Hallstatt again

Location was great. Andi very kindly came to pick us up at hallstatt busstation which is where the entrance of salt mine is n drop us there today when we leave. Each morning theres free bread hanging outside yr door. Views from apartment are fantastic. We are just round the corner from hallstatt viewpoint. Apartment is very comfortable,nicely decorated,good kitchen utensils and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Would love to stay again if i am back in hallstatt. Thank u for a great stay Yap

Excellent apartment, location and hosts (Andi/Carina)

The apartment had everything one would need and more. Andi/Carina also provided fresh bread each morning and there was a fridge outside the apartment, where you could purchase items like milk, yogurt, cheese, jams or eggs, for a reasonable price. This was very convenient.

We had a great stay here! The room was very spacious and had an amazing view of the lake. The cooking facilities were great and we used it to cook dinner! The fridge outside to buy small groceries and the bread bag in the morning were very nice touches! Thank you for the stay :)

Beautiful view outside of noisy part

Perfect located out of the noisy part, but still close to the ferry. Beautiful room with an amazing view, everything was clean and the free bread in the morning was a bonus.

I am very picky when it comes to pillows. I did not lik the pillow.

Haus Franziska is the perfect place to stay in the charming town of Hallstatt.

The location was great, just a short walk from the ferry. There was a wonderful view of the lake from the window in our room. The accommodations were very comfortable and nicely decorated and it was great to have a kitchen and the availability at a nominal cost of basic food items like milk, butter, yogurt, pasta. The host has thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable. The bread in the morning was especially nice.

Perfect location and stay! Wonderful views. Spotlessly clean.

Everything was perfect but we particularly liked the little extra touches to make sure we had a comfortable stay - changing table and nappy bin for our toddler, fresh pastries each morning, good selection of teas.
