We enjoyed our stay, altho we had to leave early and lost a week on our rental. I reached out but never heard back from the Property manager. The condo needed a deep clean, with attention to highly used areas , especially things like light switch plates, door knobs and the floor. With the virus looming, the sanitary conditions of the house felt sub-par. We were able to get some things repaired, ie: the front door, dryer and sliding doorwall. The washing macne never worked well. WE love PS and we hope to return. Felt the price of the nightly rental was a bit high for the condition of the home. Nice neigbors, lovely pool and deck off the house. Responsive on-site person. Airlines fly right over the property so lots of air traffic. Cute condo and nicely laid out. If cleanliness was attended too, would be a great rental.

The townhouse was cute but had its issues. They started even before we arrived when we learned that the “manager” didn’t want to meet us there upon our arrival. She explained that she has several jobs and a small child and wouldn’t be able to meet us there at night and that the key would be in a lock box. No. That just isn’t right. Perhaps I’m wrong but for other rentals we’ve had, we were personally welcomed there, shown around, lights on, etc. I’m thinking perhaps she isn’t the right person to be managing a property. She ultimately came after we all but begged. We rented it from March 1-29, 2019. The temps were cool initially, and warmed up by the end of the month. The heating and AC were inoperable because of a new Nest thermostat that wasn’t compatible with the system. One would think that the installer would check that the system was working before taking payment for the job. In the beginning, we were ok without heat at night but it was in the 40’s outside. We could’ve used heat. It took a couple weeks to resolve the issue with a new thermostat. By then the days were up to the 90’s and we could have used AC as we didn’t want to sleep with the windows open. One reason for that is the community is in the flight path for the Palm Springs airport. When I say flight path, I mean you could wave to the people on the planes. Some nights were quiet but there were others that the planes were coming in one after another until 2:30am. We were gone most days but when we were there, there were plenty of planes. The AC got fixed during the 2nd week. It took contacting “the guy above” the manager. The manager’s words, not mine. He lives in LA so was limited in his ability to support the townhouse. I don’t know if he was the owner or not but it was somewhat helpful to be able to communicate with someone who didn’t have 4 jobs. During the time the HVAC was down, we were cleaning up dead bees inside the house. In all, we trashed about 50 of them. There was a large, well established hive by the clerestory windows and they were getting inside. This also took 2 weeks to resolve. We wanted to play tennis but there was no key to the courts. We asked Gabby, the quasi manager (who turned out to be the housekeeper) and William (the guy above her). Both promised us a key but we never got one. We got into the pool by reaching over and turning the knob, but this couldn’t be done to enter the locked courts. Cute house. Nice views. Poor management.

William and his wife, the owners, are very friendly and very committed to making their guest's stay a memorable one. They were very easy to book and communicate with. Unit was well equipped and very roomy for us. Great location relative to pool and far enough away from main road so very quiet. Close to shopping and central to most golf courses we played. The beds were very comfortable and unit very comfortable in LIving room, dining room, kitchen and patio. Unit has a Barbeque which was great. Felt very secure in this unit. Local property manager was very helpful when we called her. Would recommend this unit to couples, girls/guys shopping/golfweekend. Would not recommend to families with little people. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again at this unit.

When you first walk in to the condo, all you can say is WOW. It is all renovated and beautifully decorated. Everything about the place says” high end” from the linens , towels and superb beds. The best part is the outdoor space! Step out into the great rear deck and you immediately relax to the sound of the fountain. Watch the hummers play and the ducks who make the pond home. You can also watch the golfers as you sip your coffee! There are grapefruit orange and lemons trees in the complex that everyone shares; some of the neighbors have pickers if you can’t reach. In fact , everyone we met in the complex was super friendly; there is a nice sense of community and item happy hour gatherings. The kitchen has service for 8; lacking in some important items if you are trying to cook ie: can opener rusted out and didn’t work , no measuring cup, serving dishes, baking pans, just the bare necessities. We had to buy quite a few items in order to cook. FYI, the BBQ is really a George Forman Grill. Impossible to cook a steak on; OK for grilling vegi,s. Nice perks are a good selection of spices, good quantity of TP, nice Dove Soap, body wash and basic cleaning supplies. Gabi was our little go to girl when we had issues , such as broken front door latch , leaking shower and kitchen equipment. She was so great and responded quickly and was so helpful. Big thx for job well done Would love to rent for 3 months but the owners don’t seem interested in doing that; the price is exhorbident for Cathedral City . If the price should become more reasonable , we will b back. Was sad to leave this fantastic home away fr home.Must say , the owner was very helpful in helping set up the TV for Super Bowl and academy awards. Thx a lot!
