Situated in Mariposa, this charming house for $510 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Newly remodeled and completely restored, this is one of the most beautiful homes in the town of Mariposa, and it's only 35 minute drive away from the Yosemite National Park entrance! Historic and beautifully restored Spanish Colonial home, located in the heart of the historic district of downtown Mariposa. Just steps away are the amazing local restaurants and unique downtown shops that truly make this gold rush era town a wonderful destination. Enjoy a beautiful drive to Yosemite Valley from Mariposa through the river canyon on California Scenic Highway 140. The house has been beautifully restored while still maintaining its historic qualities. It is newly refurnished and has three bedrooms with king sized beds. A sun/game room offers additional sleeping space. Additional air mattress and fold out pads are also provided when requested. For cooks, a gourmet kitchen offers new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all tools and gadgets needed to prepare meals. The dining room has an expandable table sitting up to twelve people. The living room has a gas fireplace for warmth and atmosphere as well as a 64 inch HDTV with DirecTV, and two recliners, a couch, and a love seat. The bathrooms have been fully remodeled with granite and travertine finishes with walk in showers. The outside court yard is spacious and provides privacy while only steps away from downtown. There are two travertine tables with seating for twelve and a fire pit table to sit around at the end of the night while relaxing and making s'mores. A new seven person, 120 jet hot tube is also located in the courtyard All Linens and towels are provided and the kitchen is stocked with the basics.

First of all, Brian and Bruce are the most attentive and accomodating Hosts we have experienced on our many Holiday Family VRBO trips. Then the location being in the quaint town of Mariposa with proximity to Yosemite and snow is wonderful. The spaciousness of the house, the beautiful grounds, the comfortable beds and clean showers, the ping pong and sports court where several of us got our fun and exercise playing pickleball every day, and so many other amenities like hotel quality shower items, games, kitchen supplies and equipment made this home at the top of our list as all time favorite, comfortable and enjoyable homes to stay in for a family Holiday!

This property was far and away the best home rental we have been in. It was not only a beautiful home with lots of character which was tastefully decorated, but it was exceptionally clean.
The kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils and basics we needed to cook up some relaxed vacay meals. The thoughtful additions the hosts provided, (local whole bean coffee to grind for breakfast, a plethora of books on the Yosemite area, to name a couple), made the stay extra special.
It was quite hot the first few days of our stay but we still ended up using the hot tub in the late evenings which felt so good after long days hiking. We played card games at the fire table and took advantage of the ping pong table and pickle ball court, as well.
I could go on and and on but I will finish by saying we would stay in any property hosted by Brian and Bruce! Not all of our family could make it this trip so we definitely want to come back.

This place was awesome! Well stocked, it had everything you needed, very clean, beautiful property. Great location, about an hour from the gate to Yosemite (with no traffic). We really appreciated the coffee grinder and enjoyed the local coffee beans. Beds were very comfortable.

We had such a wonderful stay in this charming and beautifully restored home! The property is simply lovely and in a convenient location to walk into Mariposa while also feeling like a luxurious private retreat. We used it as a "home base" to explore around Yosemite and it was a relaxing space to return to after each day of adventures. The beds are very comfortable, and the house is well-equipped with everything we could need, especially in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the hot tub and my kids loved the sports courts. Best of all, Brian is the most responsive and accommodating host I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Such an amazing house - beautiful, many top notch amenities, and activities to keep the family busy when we were home after a long day of hiking. Also very convenient to many restaurants. Communication with owners was great and really helpful as we had some concerns with wildfires nearby before our stay.

Amazing Home & Amazing Hosts
This is our favorite home of all the homes we’ve rented in the US. Brian is super responsive. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare meals for 6 easily. The hot tub was awesome, as was all of the outdoor seating. The charm of the house is amazing and the location is perfect for Yosemite and Sequoia We will be back.

Beautiful Home in a Sweet Town
We had a great time on this property! It was clean and had almost everything we needed. If you are a guest, I’d recommend buying or bringing shampoo/conditioner/body wash because there wasn’t enough for our party if 8 there. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautiful, and we had a great time with the host leaving detailed instructions. The only thing I’d recommend is a towel rack for the master bedroom bathroom downstairs, but otherwise it’s a perfect place to stay!

Wonderful Home
Fantastic property, nestled in an excellent location central to the quaint town of Mariposa. Everything was within walking distance and the drive to Yosemite was beautiful. The sports area was popular with my teenage kids and the amenities were perfect after a long day at Yosemite and Mariposa Groves. Couldn’t have asked for a more convenient, comfortable and peaceful location. Perfect!

The house was so well appointed and absolutely perfect for our day trips to Yosemite! Restaurants were easily walkable and the house owner’s recommendations were great. We all loved the hot tub after a long day walking, hiking, or biking in the park!

The pictures represent the house well. The living room has an Ahwahnee feel. Everyone got her own bedroom, and we even played tennis on the sport court. The house is one block from the cute little downtown Mariposa, where we found several boutiques to do some shopping and a nice restaurant for our one dinner out. We enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen of the house, and loved that we did not get in the car once during our stay (although it would be a nice one-hour drive into Yosemite Valley for anyone so inclined). This would be a great place to stay in any season. I’d love to return.

Absolutely Amazing find
This amazing find came to us quite by accident, our group of 7 family members were visiting Mariposa to spread ashes of a beloved family member at her brothers mountaintop home. We were not all planning to stay together, but thought we would look to see what was available, Bed and breakfasts could not accommodate all of us, and the hotel/motel options were not very exciting so we started looking at VRBO to see what might be available, quite a number of options, but most all looked a little tired at best until we stumbled on this listing.
The listing was very detailed and it quickly became clear that it met our basic needs, and the pictures looked good as well. The more we researched the listing, the more surprised we were at the offerings such as hot tub, garage, and an interesting notation of "Fully Stocked" which piqued our interest, and curiosity.
Needles to say, we booked the location and excitedly awaited our journey to Mariposa and our VRBO. Upon arrival after a 12 1/2 hour drive from SLC, Utah, we were pleased with the look from the outside, but were not prepared for the OUTSTANDING condition of the home, nor the exquisite beauty to be found inside! The owners of this home spared no expense when preparing this home for its guests, the attention to detail was amazing, they did not miss anything, it was so much more than we could have dreamed of, ALL of us indicated that we would love to live there forever!
ALL of the furnishings were gorgeous and if not antique fit right in with the personality of the home. Beautiful rugs adorned the floors in every room, the furnishings were both comfortable and all in excellent condition.
In regard to the "Fully Stocked" comment in the listing, we found absolutely nothing you might need missing, there was even a utility drawer containing extra batteries for all devices in the home, a flashlight, and other items. There was plenty of storage in the laundry are for the food we brought.
The Hot tub was sparkling clean, and fully opperational, and we tested it every night we were there. The ping pong table got exercised, and we checked out the basketball court though we did not have time to play.
Needless to say, we will all be planning trips here again in the future, probably not as such a large group, but it easily accommodated all of us.
This property is a rare gem, be sure and take advantage of it.

This is a beautiful home located a block from the main street. The town of Mariposa can get a little noisy but that dies down later in the evenings. Communication with the owners was great. The home has all the amenities you would need and more! Perfect place to stay if you are exploring Yosemite.
