Lovely accommodation with a welcome pack which we appreciated. Our host Jeannie was informative and friendly. It was ideal for touring around, and we also spent a day relaxing in the peace and quiet of the accommodation. Very well equipped..Jeannie and Brian have thought of everything.

10/10 in our opinion. Everything that you need for a relaxing stay was provided even down to the welcome milk tea coffee and cakes. Jeannie and Brian took the time to talk to us about the local area and the farm when we asked, but at the same time they respected our privacy. Swallows Rest is a brilliant place to stay.

Beautiful location, Great for walking or like us we drove to all the gorgeous villages and towns around the local area. The bungalow barn conversion was clean warm and very comfortable. It was also very well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The hosts were lovely friendly people & they were very helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here…10/10

Another lovely stay at this beautifully quiet property. We used it as a base to visit family nearby. Looking forward to returning again soon hopefully in warmer weather! Although the barn was toasty warm with cosy underfloor heating. Hosts very friendly, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Good, clean and quite spacious, bed a bit too hard for us, could suit other sleepers of course. Always difficult to drive around lanes in that area, ok when you know them. All in all a most plesant stay.

Such an fabulous holiday. Jeannie and Brian are the most amazing hosts. Spotlessly clean accommodation with everything you could wish for. We had such a restful and fun time and our children loved the cows, chickens and goats and the freedom to cycle down the lane. We couldn’t rate this accommodation highly enough!!! What can I say, this was a stunning place to stay. Very clean and gorgeous views. Everything you could ever need for your holiday and some lovely walks if you have a dog. The owners were so friendly and we loved the little extra touches including delicious homemade scones. It was such a hot weekend but there was plenty of shade available to make our stay comfortable. Thoroughly recommend this property and will definitely return. The narrow country lanes take some getting used to, but it’s worth it .

Relaxing stay in a beautiful barn conversion

Swallows rest is a spacious, light and airy barn conversion - spotlessly clean and really well equipped. It's in a peaceful location with lovely walks from the doorstep and there's a nice cross country walk into Nailsworth which has some great shops, pubs and restaurants. The hosts were very thoughtful, from leaving chocolate cake for us to letting us see the newly born calves. We would love to return one day!

We so enjoyed our weekend at Swallows Rest. A lovely short break for some R&R away from London busyness and bustle. The cottage is very comfortable and well-equipped, the hosts warm and welcoming, and the surroundings peaceful. The log burner is wonderfully cosy on chilly evenings too! All in all a very lovely stay.

Fabulous place in such a peaceful setting but only a short walk/drive to shops, restaurants etc. The property was super clean with every amenity possible for a relaxing break. We intend to return with grandchildren so that they can see and feed the animals on the farm... They will love it.

We had such a gorgeous long weekend at Swallows Rest. Our 2 year old loved the cows, goats and chickens on the farm, as well as being able to see the tractors from his bedroom window! We visited some gorgeous places such as the Cotswolds Water Park and Newark Park which were only a short drive away. There was plenty of information in the cottage on local restaurants and things to do - be sure to check the guest book as there are lots of recommendations in there too! It was the perfect relaxing New Year's break, we only wished we stayed for longer!

Very peaceful location on a farm. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. We had a great week away enjoying the autumnal Cotswolds countryside. Very friendly hosts who gave us lots of information about the area.

Fabulous barn conversion

Just returned from a long weekend at this property with our two spaniels. Spotlessly clean, great location only 15 min walk to Nailsworth along country lanes and a short drive from Stroud. Had a very warm welcome from Jeannie. Will definitely be returning soon.
