The room and the guests' lounge were spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom perfectly adequate for our needs. The owner was welcoming and helpful. The price was reasonable and the accommodation worked well for a one night stay whilst visiting the theatre.
The accommodation is what it is - an ensuite room in what, I imagine, was once a guest house. It's not fancy or contemporary, the decor is outdated and it feels a little like going back in time to the 80s or 90s. There are no breakfast facilities and no staff on site 24/7. However, everything was clean, in good condition for its age and worked properly so it's just a matter of taste. If you are on a budget, it's definitely worth staying here.

It was spotlessly clean. Furniture and decor in public areas was very attractive and tasteful
One problem was that no breakfast was available, despite a number of tables set up in what looked like a dining area. The only other difficulty was that it was hard to identify from outside. Advertised as Arden En-suite Rooms but nowhere was this written outside.

Brilliant location, very clean.
Top floor room was a bit cramped and due to low ceilings and beams a bit difficult to move around. Would definitely book again on a lower floor.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was convenient.
My room, number 5, was located at the top of two steep staircases. It was rather a struggle to get up there with just a modest sized suitcase. There was no lift. Other rooms at the top were numbers 6 and 7.
The room was very small with no table or chair - just the bed, a small wardrobe and the bathroom.
The property is situated on a busy road, quite noisy.
