The rooms had an outdated design that definitely needed renovation, and the air inside was stuffy.

The hotel has a very cool, modern vibe with a nice bar and restaurant. There is a free pool table and games and books that you can borrow. The staff are friendly and the room was a good size. There were some interesting vegetarian options at the restaurant and the outdoor spaces were great on a warm night. Having the full day entrance to the next door water park was great as was having the shopping centre with other activities across the street. The bus stop being right next to the hotel's side entrance was really handy, especially for day trips or getting back to St Gallen.

We booked the hotel wanting A/C but the machine was more of a large fan. It did cool the room slightly but was not what we'd call air conditioning. It was also difficult to leave the windows open due to the light from the building opposite. While the room and bathroom were overall very clean, there was a splatter of something above the hair dryer that was not cleaned during our 4 day stay. Finally, it seemed like used towels were replaced each day and it would be good if there was a more environmentally friendly process in place. A recycle bin or recycling station would also be good.

the room is very spacious and comfortable. staff very friendly. hotel facilities outstanding.

i'd prefer a shower instead of the bath. at a certain age this is kind of dangerous, but its not a complaint only a suggeztion to consider fir seniors.

The pools and Aquapark are in completely separate building (available to public) and are not at all part of the hotel. You get one entry pass if you stay in hotel
