About this house rental
Situated in Estero Island, this charming house for $463 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Town of Fort Myers Beach Registration Number 19-0096 Member, Florida Vacation Rental Management Association Member, Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce Photos are post Hurricane Ian and current as of 2/4/2024. Rebuild/remodel is 95% complete. Be sure to check back in the comings days as weeks for all-new photos and videos. Also, be sure to check with Fort Myers Beach vacation rental hosts before booking, as many that we know and know are not yet rebuilt are showing pre-Ian photos. The first level is the only space that remains under repair. The second two levels are where the bedrooms and common living areas are. There was no hurricane damage to these areas. House is beautiful 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath, non-smoking home. House is located at the north end of the island near Times Square, the new Margaritaville Resort, and the popular downtown and Bayside Park areas. Our house sleeps 12 excluding an inflatable twin mattress and the pack-n-play. No more than 13 guests can be accommodated due to fire code, no exceptions. House is fully equipped - towels, linens, soap, shampoo, etc. are provided. You'll find the outdoor space as nice as anything you'll find on the island right now. Your outdoor oasis and over-sized, heated pool are ready for you to enjoy. We're told that the pool is the largest private pool on the island and is heated to a constant 83 degrees (pool will be warmer than that from May-October as we don't cool it). Beach chairs, pub tables, outdoor grill are all ready for your use. Free Wi-Fi. Xfinity high def cable with more than 140 channels and the extra sports package. All bedrooms include wall mounted, HD TVs with cable (4 of 5 with smart TVs). You're going to find more than you expect - certainly more than you'll find in most vacation rentals. We have a pack-n-play, highchair, booster seat. We have two high-capacity washing machines and two dryers. We have hair dryers in each bathroom plus a hair straightener in one bathroom. Far too much for us to list everything included in this space. Notice to guests: Southern Serenity has outdoor security cameras. They are not concealed and clearly visible. They are for security purposes only. There are no concealed cameras and no cameras inside the home. Like and follow us on social media at Southern Serenity FMB. We're also on the web under that same name. It's totally reasonable to believe that all new reservations as of today will check-in to our fully complete, fully restored and improved home. Great communication with host. Easy to access the propriety. It was still under renovation when we stayed but host was clear upfront and very honest about it. Enjoy now as it is not yet too crowded in FMB

Our Hosts have quite possibly one of the best places on Ft Myers Beach currently to rent a home. Everything is up to date and working very well even amongst the destruction of the hurricane. They were consistently communicative with us. 100 out of 10 stars!

Exceptional host communication, property location, layout of the home, and one of the most well stocked kitchens for cooking at home would be enough to unquestionably return to this VRBO again and again. The neighborhood and neighbors will seal the return deal. In fact, for the first time in our extensive travel planning we were looking to book next year before even leaving for home. We are two families traveling together. The layout of the home provided enough space and privacy for everyone. The pool is large and the area around it is easy to gather in. The kitchen was so well stocked we lacked for nothing in all seven days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner at home. Drip and Keurig coffee machines. Dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent provided. Spices. Coffee filters. Paper towel. Plenty of towels. All of those things that just make setting up house so much less costly and more convenient. It is clear these are experienced and aware hosts. Maybe five minute walk to the beach and that is with small children (ages 5-8). There are not many businesses open post hurricane on the island and the devastation is real! This never subtracted from our experience (except the sadness you can’t help but feel for this community), as we felt so welcome in this home and by the neighbors. Brad and Shelley were completely transparent in what to expect during our stay and every part of this experience exceeded our expectations. I think our kids will be sending Christmas cards to the neighbors for years to come—that’s how great they are! We could never say enough good things.

My friends and I travel all over the world this was a snap decision knowing that we could be there during a hurricane. We had a fabulous time the weather was perfect the host is right the pool is probably the largest private pool on the island it is absolutely stunning the house was clean it had all of the amenities we needed and it was a short walk to the beach for a sunset every evening. There were six of us and there are six beds in the house it was perfect! If I could give the host 10 stars I would we will definitely be booking this place again. It is in the perfect location a Fort Myers Beach close to all the fun restaurants bike rentals convenience and grocery store we didn’t have to leave we were in paradise.

The home is well furnished and ready to host a family of all ages. The pool makes the beach a secondary choice. Everything you need for the beach, pool, meal prep and just kicking back is there. A high chair and boster seat made meals much easier for the todlers. The visitor guide provided by the host was so helpful. Easy walks to restaurants, coffee shops, and stores as well as bike/scooter rentals.
Our family trip of 6 adults and four kids was a huge success because of your home.
One thought from the parents of the todlers would be a baby gate (to block the stairs) to add to your great accessories.

Wonderful family vacation house located conveniently to beach, town and restaurants. Owners communicated promptly to resolve any concerns and provided us with a well stocked home. House was clean and beds comfortable. The outstanding feature for our family was the clean, beautiful pool with shallow and deep water for swimming. Definitely recommend and will stay again when our travel brings us to the beach!!!

We had a fabulous family vacation at this property. Shelley and Brad were great to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. The home, location, pool and accommodations were perfect. I rely on reviews a lot when booking VRBO and this home was definitely 5+stars. Beach access and restaurants were within walking distance. We went to the beach in the morning, walked home for lunch and swam in the pool in the afternoon. There are also lots of excursions near by. We will always treasure the memories we made here and hope to return again with family and or a group of friends. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful house with amazing back yard and pool! A few minutes walk to the beach and short walk to the town square. Would definitely stay again and hope to next summer. Had everything you could ask for in a house (enough kitchen supplies, beach supplies, pool toys, even provided all the beach towels, bed are super comfortable, the list goes in and on)!!!!

Family Vacation
The house was wonderful and very clean. Plenty of room for all of us to rest and relax. Even though it is close to the beach it is still a quiet neighborhood, which made the evenings very peaceful.
If the chance arises we will come back

My family of 12 had a great time at this house for one week in July. We had 8 adults and 4 children ages 4-7. The walk to the beach was an easy one for adults and older children but with our little ones we decided to rent a golf cart. After a couple hours at the beach combined with the heat the little ones couldn’t have done it. We spent most of our time at the pool which was super clean and absolutely fabulous! My biggest complaint would be I wish they had a real bed instead of the sofa sleeper. We had two of the children sleep on it so it worked out but I cannot see adults sleeping on it. We didn’t have one bad meal during our whole stay. We ate at all these places once because we like to try new restaurants:

Such an amazing home
I was so excited to bring my family down to Fort Myers and this house held up to my expectations! Tons of space, it has all the amenities you'd need. The pool was incredible! Truly a great find. Family and friends plus many kids
We are three families with lots of kids and everyone had a good time. From the awesome pool, to a 5min walk to the beach, and overall cute street vibe, definitely recommend for families. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook or entertain. Lots of steps between the three floors of the house so make sure that won’t be an issue before staying. Overall, the property owners are very attentive and welcoming. Thanks for hosting us- first time in the area.

We had two families with teens for their senior spring break. We love everything about this house. The pool area is fabulous! We grilled out and had some shade when needed. There was plenty of beach chairs for all of us which was really just a short walk. It’s a great location to walk up town and everything worked and the home was clean! There was plenty of space for everyone! We loved it!

We pretty much spent a majority of our time in the backyard by the pool!!! Very convenient for small children. Did venture to the beach a few times and it was a short walk. Nice to have all of the beach gear provided! Would definitely stay again!

Very large house with 4 nice size bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a sleeper sofa in on the ground floor. 3.5 bathrooms. Even has 2 kitchens. Excellent location. Close to many restaurants, bars, shops, beach, etc. you can easily walk to them. Very well stocked with everything you need. Pool is very large. Outside area is very comfortable with lots of seating, including some shade. Love, love, love this house. We would definitely be back, but we just bought a house of our own down here because we love it so much!!!!!
