The house was conveniently located and easy to find. We parked right outside the door.
The spiral staircase by the front door was lovely, and the house was reasonably spacious with a seating area downstairs and on the 1st floor.
We struggled to get the key safe open when we arrived, I thought we were going to have to call for help!
The house is narrow and therefore quite gloomy, the lighting could have been better.
The bedrooms are on the second floor and the bathroom on the first, thankfully there was a lamp on the first floor landing that we left on in case we needed to get up in the night. The bed was the only one we've had in Scotland not to give us an extra blanket or cover of some sort, & I was quite cold.
The kitchen was equipped with oven, microwave, kettle etc but very little in terms of dishes to put in the oven.
The house felt tired with tatty paintwork and mismatched crockery etc.
That said, the price we paid possibly reflects that.
