About this campground/ rv resort rental

Situated in Boat of Garten, this charming campground/ rv resort for $125 per night is a great option for your next vacation. IDEAL ACCOMMODATION FOR YOUR SKI BREAK IN THE CAIRNGORMS WHILST CONDITIONS LAST The property is a ABI Milano built to residential specification BS3632, this upgrade allows for improved insulation thus heats up quicker in winter. The chalet is positioned in a commanding position for views over the countryside and mountains. A peaceful setting awaits.... It has two bedrooms with main en suite and a further bathroom with shower. A large fully equipped kitchen, washing machine included, leads into an open-plan living room which has plenty of comfortable seating for watching either the views, or your favourite programme on the 48" TV. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed with reading lights on either side. An added bonus with this chalet is there's a vanity unit in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds. There's plenty of storage space in either bedroom for clothes etc. The front of the chalet has the FULL length and height double patio front doors which leads onto the patio for maximum views of landscape and mountains. Just outside these doors you will be standing on decking which extends the FULL 40ft x 3m length of the chalet with the front decking extending an EXTRA 4M. Biggest decking on site so NOTHING IS CRAMMED. A wood burning 'braai' ( BBQ) is for your use. There are also 4 push-bikes in the shed which guests are welcome to use. These bikes belong to the owners so guests use them at their own risk. Naturally all bedding and towels are provided, even a hair dryer! A dedicated free parking bay alongside the chalet.

The chalet was very clean and had everything we needed. The view over the surrounding countryside is beautiful and makes for a very relaxing stay. We'll definitely be looking to stay again in the future.

Well presented home from home with good facilities between the caravan and site. Fairly good location for all of the Cairngorms and Inverness etc. Locally the facilities are also good for shops, fuel and outdoor equipment if needed.

The weather wasn't too great, so we could hardly use the fantastic and huge terrace, but we enjoyed the chalet, with a very nice and large living room.

All you could ask for a short stay, very clean and comfortable property, very well located for exploring the area and a bonus view from the lounge when relaxing after a busy day out.

The owner was excellent...I couldn't figure out the stove and I emailed him, after 5 pm and he emailed back within 5 minutes and within 15 he had someone their to show me how to use it! The location was absolutely beautiful, the quiet country setting. The caravan had everything needed. The little town was charming and felt very safe. Truly a great place to vacation! Bonus: perfect for day trips into the Highlands and the attractions!

Great sized accommodation in a good location in the park. Very handy having two bathrooms and two showers. Heating was quick to heat the whole place now that it's getting chilly again. Ideal location for lots of activities. Would definitely stay again. Good communication with the owner before arrival with all details we would need.

The bath towels were old. There were no hand towels provided, as they should have been according to the inventory. There was no paper towel provided, also as should have been according to the inventory. No spare toilet rolls were provided. We had to buy extra. The chalet was not spotlessly clean, especially the en suite toilet along the bottom of the shower door, and the floor edge. Heating: the boiler did not fire when we turned up the thermostat for heating. The boiler showed an "F 1 fault" (low water pressure). The cause of this was that the water was turned off. We feel that this should have been set up for instant use as no one on the site was prepared to help. It was just trial and error on our part which got it going. When it was working, the heating and the hot water were excellent.

I hope they have a ggod hot tub we paid to much for the acommodation our disability son was upset because he cant use it on his 3 day of stay , poir communication with the owner , we did not enjoy the holiday

Good communication from David, explained what was needing done to book in and any issues regarding the caravan. The new Wi-Fi was great helped entertain the family when not out venturing. The caravan was perfectly located for what we needed to do in our ventures eg landmark adventure 5 minute drive, the zoo 10 minute drive aviemore itself 10 minute drive. Problem we had it was such a short journey that we couldn’t fit everything in.. the heating within the caravan was great which as we all know this time of year is freezing so it was long heating the caravan up. All utensils were there that was needed and caravan was spacious for family of 4…… let’s just say overall the kids didn’t want to go home which made us happy and wouldn’t hesitate to use David’s caravan in the future. Thanks.

Place is very clean, it has everything you need for a self catering holiday except for salt and pepper :) but there is a shop in the village. We ve communicated very well with the owner, kept us right in a few matters. Hopefully we ll be back in summer when the scenery is different. See you later David 👍. Mihai family.

Lovely stay, very homely after a mix up with arriving at the caravan and the cleaners had not been in. After contacting David to let him know he sorted very quickly. Absolutely beautiful caravan. Didn’t want to come home, just a little gutted our youngest couldn’t go in the advertised hot tub as it was broken and wasn’t made aware of this as the caravan had been booked earlier on in the year.
