As I was a woman on my own I was a bit disappointed that I was put in a shepherds hut the furthest away from the main building. So I felt a degree of nervousness at night.
There was no comfortable seating outside. All seats were wooden without cushions.

Stayed in a Shepherd’s Hut which was lovely and despite other huts around felt private enough. The grounds are generally very pretty and so is the barn where breakfast is served. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, particularly having them exclusively to ourselves.
Hut needs a refresh/maintenance (eg stained curtains, broken hooks). The advertised toaster and board games were not provided. EV chargers were difficult to get working, and reception staff were not particularly helpful when this was raised. The continental breakfast was also fairly limited. Overall, was a lovely place however not reflecting of the 5 stars.
